Like the use of the Tamiya powder, I use them a lot, well often, and you are correct that a little goes a long way. Good video, everyone has their own preferences regarding weathering. And even on camera it looks good. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Paul, I remember I was unsure at first at using the powders but now they are my goto for weathering, yes your absolutely rite as everyone does have their own way of doing things regarding weathering, I hope this video helps people who may be wanting to have a go at weathering, it does seem to put people off, Take care Rich

Hi Great looking fleet there, I like the van especially, a little tip for the wheel cleaning, if you have one of those foam cradles, put the loco in upside down, get a 9v battery (the small rectangle type) and place it across the wheels, then with the other hand you can wipe the wheels surfaces with a cotton bud, hope this helps. Thanks

Thanks for the tip, im sure it will help people out👍 i think the longest part of weathering in this case was the loco wheel cleaning, it took ages! 😂

Nice work. I'll have to pluck up courage and tackle my stock. Pete.

Id recommend practicing on something just so you can test the process but its a fairly straight forward thing to do, sometimes i find being loose with the powders and not super accurate can give better results too, good luck, Rich

What a difference that makes. 👍 I've never tried weathering mine but always like to see a nicely weathered vehicle.
    (I don't try because I'm colour blind)

Interesting effects. Is there a very tiny bit of spatter with the airbrush brown or is that intentional? However, that could just be my old eyes. I wonder what a minimal wash would look like on the wagons. How is Crewe Works going?

Hi Paul, its probably airbrush spatter tbh, id advise a water trap if getting an airbrush (something i need). A video on Crewe should be soon, very soon 👍

Your stock could do with a good cleaning. Look at the state they're in :)
