Although the Germans may not be happy---the Chinese cars participating in this exhibition are all models that have been on sale in the Chinese market for a year or more. The Chinese do not think it is necessary to bring more advanced and technologically advanced models to the exhibition.
In fact, the intensity of competition in China's domestic auto market far exceeds that in Europe. The challenges that Chinese automakers encounter in the European market are basically from racial and political issues, and almost none from technology.

If you're serious, buy a plane ticket to China, with over 50% tram coverage in first-tier cities, and a lot of brands to choose from between $30,000 and $50,000 that sell very well. Tesla and BYD are starting to turn a profit after a long period of losses. Quality is another topic, go look at sales of electric buses and electric cabs. Germany has the best fuel cars, but the world change accelerated after Germany lost its pipeline. Germany has lost cheap energy, and to give up the partnership is to give up decades of lucrative markets. Most of TV reports never ever entered or drived an Chinese car. The only issue with Chinese cars is suspensions ( not as good as the Bosch ones ). By price and desing, u have ones who are more expansive like Zekr ( very good ecar, has 3D camera visualisation while parking, so perfect for an pragnent wife in an megacity) BYD is classical, many kinds. Almost everyday I go to work, I order an taxi in Beijing, most are electric ones. The leather smells a bit bad in some ecars. But when its about speed, navigation and price its really understandable why to buy it. Europe does not have that many charging points like in China for Ecars. Also, chinese billionares and rich people cant easily take they money to an off shore island and make some partyies so they have an new fashion, to open ur own car company, thats an token u need to have. Im quite young, but I know when Japanese and Korean cars arrived in Europe they are made fun of😂, what about now? Same will be with Chinese cars, but tbh they dont need European market cus, in China culture is to buy new car not second hand, so when u see an stockpile of white cars "not sold" lol man they are second hand. While in Europe especially Eastern Europe, rarely someone can afford and first hand car. Buick who is an american brand for example, lives only to please chinese market, and buick is quite popular in China. Fac is, more and more young people buy chinese cars or ecars for two reasons ( e cars get licence plates faster, second: noone much cares what you drive as long as u have a car in Beijing or any top tire city in China). Whats the future? I guess EU will ban many chinese cars to enter its market just as it is for the ebikes. Here an new ebike costs loke 600€, can go cca 80 km/h. Why would an european be given to buy an ebike for 600€ or an new ecar for 10ooo€ ? Right? Its better to go get a loan and buy mercedes. Oh yes, do you knoe guys that Mercedes in China makes lower lvl quality cars than in Europe? So mercedes in China, u pay more cus of tax, and get less. Except amg, that one is an real deal. Russias market already let 红旗🚩 red flag carbrand to enter its market ( that car looks as dope as an RR). I dont think Germany can afford to make cheaper cars than China, as an worker in Germany, in an car plant how much do u get? Yes more than in China, but in China, tire 2 or tire 3 cities u can live very nicely for 400/500€. DW really does bad in recent years covering China.
