    Roborock have at least three models that lift the mop and also include vibration control in the mop. They are also building models that wash and dry the mop. Enjoyable review and I would consider this to replace my aging Roborock S50 which I’ve had for five years or so

    I have an N8, the thing which trips it up ALL the time is going from the living room carpet and on to the rug we have. Depending on the angle it approaches the rug, if skiming the edge this causes a "Anti drop sensors covered" error. Thats its main issue for me. We have a hard floor in the kitchen and dinning room but a carpet in the hall, so when mopping it won't go from the kitchen to the dinning room on its own. We have to move it in to the dinning room to mop that room and then put it back. So a way to lift the mopping pad would be good to go over the carpet and resume mopping.

    Have you had any problem setting it up with ecovacs app and firewall enabled on the router? N10 Plus (NEO+) does have problem picking 2.4GHz band to connect when router is transmitting on both 2.4 and 5GHz WiFi antennas. The other issue is it fails to detect 2" inch frame of the side table as it thinks it could get over it but gets trapped inside the rectangular frame. Also did you notice any issue cleaning near the furniture edges or walls?

    Tile floored kitchen and everything beyond (back hall, utility room, etc.) but carpet (long overdue for replacement carpet) elsewhere, along with the odd shoelace or cable that Neatos have a tendency to try and eat. My camcorder power cable still bears the scars, not to mention bares its copper, from an attempted devourment by a Neato.
    The pain in the arse is of course the stairs, which I need to do myself when I can be bothered. Upstairs can be done by giving the vac a change of scenery.

    The N8 I won from you in the in the blind auction ages ago is awesome. Far better then my old second hand one. I have wooden floors all downstairs and it cleans it great. Also great for getting my boys to clean their toys up as deebot will eat them if they don't lol. My old one has gone to my mum a d dads. It's perfect for keeping their carpets and stone floors clean as they are at the age hoovering etc is hard so they love the robot.

    Had robot vacuums for years, used to be well into the iRobot offerings but they are so far behind the pack nowadays. We run a Proscenic M7 Pro with self emptying bin right now and love it, especially the hard floor washing bit !

    I have an N8 and a N79 and they are both great with the N8 being an obvious big step up. The only issue I have with the N8 is it sometimes not being able to work out its location and thus creating a whole new map rather than using the one that I have painstakingly setup with boundaries etc. I'd be interested to know if the N10 is better at this. i.e. if you create a map and then just pick it up and move it to a random location, does it work out where it is ok? Thanks!

    • @TD-uh3wi
      @TD-uh3wi ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes the N8 is like dory on steroids. You pick it up off the floor its forgotten where it is! I just recently received my New n10. Wow it is way better than the N8 and it hardly forgets where it is. The rubber Brush I ordered 2 one for my x1 even though its recommended for the N10 and used it on both, The N10 is my beast carpet cleaner whilst the X1 omni is my main mopping beast. My N8 has been reassigned to the Garage!!!

    What does 4300 of suction power really means or compares to? The bristles in the revolving brush, by themselves, can pick up a lot of dirt , so to me suction power really matters.

    Started with an iRobot like a decade ago... not going to lie, it was utter shit. Newer stuff by Ecovacs is getting a lot better, we're nearly to mainstream consumer release levels of development. In just working a bit with my N10 I can notice many, many design and functionality improvements. The early iRobot ones would just its brush stopped by dog hair in a matter of minutes. This one can go for 45minutes or more without the need to clean the brush and cleaning the brush takes a minute or less due to the design of the brush itself and the tool with a blade housed in the robot itself for easy access.

    DO NOT BUY!
    *Coming up to 9 months and robot is repeatedly failing with various different faults.
    *When you send it away they demand you buy a box yourself and pay to post it yourself - but then if they believe anything is "damaged in transit" they are no longer responsible...
    Do not buy - company is a con artist.
