I like the idea of Simo vs Loki because Loki’s shapeshifting/illusion abilities can make any fight suspenseful, and combat that with Simo’s sniper skills we could get a fight where Simo can easily kill a god with a single shot but Loki is constantly casting illusions at an attempt to trick him to make mistakes and close the distance.
I like the Anubis vs Rasputin fight - Death God versus The man who keeps dodging death. I think Nostradamus is a good match against Odin. Nostradamus makes prophesies while Odin has future sight because of him sacrificing his eye. Thinking it's a fight of predictions. Simo and Loki is a logical match up - sharp eyes of a sniper versus a trickster. It may be a fight about Simo holding the trigger the whole time only to shoot at that one moment where he is 1000% sure it's Loki.
I think Anubis should fight simo because they’re both affiliated with the title of death, rasputin would fight loki because they’re both villainous figures i could possibly see rasputin dancing around with loki’s chains and screwing with the god of mischief

I can see this being a bait and switch. We think we are getting nostra vs Odin but in truth we get nostra vs loki. I can see the idea of the joker being burned for the big bad only to be wasted. And before people mention apoc. I think Apoc is going to not matter for the god fighter there as I think a complication will happen to prevent the god fighter there from competing

I was convinced that Simo would go up against Anubis (Hunter vs Animal/White Death vs Black Death?), but I wasn't aware of Rasputin's connections to death, so that could work too. To be honest I'd always pegged the latter as the spare fighter who would go against whoever the extra god would be... but since it seems that the Gods Apoc winner may be added to the tournament, and since it's 90% gonna end up being Cu, that makes me think Simo could end up going against him. Could work since Simo is a sniper, which I assume are infamous for their instakills, and, well... Gae Bolg seems to be doing the same thing. Maybe it'll be a case of "who one-shots the other first?" I'm spitballing here. I don't bring Nostradamus up because I think it's kiiiiinda obvious that he'll go up against Loki. They both seem to have similar skillsets, similar fruity vibes... it's perfect. I think Kintoki is being saved for the final fight with Odin as well, since it'd make sense that the final fighter will end up being Japanese.
Everyone talking about Simo's sniping ability but i think it will be his survival skills that will be his true power. They guy survived thing's that would have killed most people many times over. I know this is rasputins thing as well but i think his power will be based on his ability to make people belive his words like some sort of hypnosis or some sort of super placebo effect based on how he cured the prince of his haemophilia.
In my personal opinion, I think it would be Rasputin versus loki the reason I think this is because Rasputin in Russian legend was able to come back to life a bunch of times and Loki has Shapeshifting abilities
So the final matchups is probably Gonna be: Anubis vs simo Loki vs rasputin Odin vs nostradamus or kintoki i think odin fighting notradamus makes sense because he might hold a grudge against him for destroying the bifrost If One of these matchups ended up in a tie and the final battle leads to kintoki possibly pulling the same thing buddha did becoming humanity’s traitor and ends up fighting alongside the gods he could be fighting siegfried which would ultimately mean whoever determines the fate of humanity wouldnt come down to the gods, it would come down to humanity itself

Since Anubis is the Egyptian God of the dead I think he will face Rasputin since people say that he can cheat death (I think) so I think that he is the most fitting opponent for him. I think it'll be Simo vs Anubis. The "White death" against the God of death. Plus, Simo has a dog as a companion, and he could fight with him just like Lu Bu fought with the horse in the end. And Anubis being a jackal... Well, that fits.
It’s funny how Rasputin is kind of the last human we have yet to see and yet it does seem like he is likely the next one up. Wouldn’t say Simo won’t happen, but I feel like Simo would be someone who would get into a “long range” fight with someone and Anubis feels like he would try and chase him down. Could be an interesting fight still, but I’m assuming Rasputin would be a close range fighter of sorts (nothing too different from all the other fighters), but kind of going for a process of elimination.
My guess is Rasputin vs Anubis, Man who cannot die vs Death, Simo vs Loki, where it is stopped due to Odin's plans, Nostradamus basically pulling up on Odin after the Primordial Gods are revived to get his fight as it was "part of his plan" and Seig getting released to fight the New God.

My prediction is there will be a 15th MATCH. If the writers intended the fight to be concluded with the current roster, then they would have gone with an 11 round or 13 round match up however a 14 round match up can end with a 7 win draw from each side meaning a tie breaker will be initiated hence. There will be a 15TH MATCH between humanity and the gods.

We’ve definitely gotten to the point IMO where whoever wins this fight kinda guarantees who wins the next fight. If the gods win this round, then humanity has to win the next round not to lose and vice versa. That being said I really want Simo to win his fight, and for Loki to lose his, so I think you can guess which matchup I want to see.
One question i think of is what happens to the souls of everyone after they perished? I think odin is using them all as sacrifices in someway to become stronger to resurrect something…

I would also guess Anubis and Rasputin / Simö and Loki. Would Even Go as far as saying: Rasputin will lose and put the gods again in lead. Doesnˋt See him as such a likely winner. Siegfried ist kinda Like a wildcard in the Story. Also, how will apocalypse of the gods turn out and influence the Future of the Story. I think, that will also have a huge impact. Some weird reason I just feel Odin is going next. Win his fight carrying it 6:5 thus continuing what ever plot he has in the story then Anubis goes after and loses against whoever carrying it to 6:6 then Loki fights last and something weird happens that cancels his fight half way thru 🤷🏽♂️

If the gods win this round, then humanity has to win the next round not to lose and vice versa. That being said I really want Simo to win his fight, and for Loki to lose his, so I think you can guess which matchup I want to see.
One question i think of is what happens to the souls of everyone after they perished? I think odin is using them all as sacrifices in someway to become stronger to resurrect something…

I would also guess Anubis and Rasputin / Simö and Loki. Would Even Go as far as saying: Rasputin will lose and put the gods again in lead. Doesnˋt See him as such a likely winner. Simö seems more Like a character to win his round. Odin and Nostradamus Could be the Final match up. Depends likely on how the Siegfried situation turns out. Siegfried ist kinda Like a wildcard in the Story. Also, how will apocalypse of the gods turn out and influence the Future of the Story. I think, that will also have a huge impact. Maybe Kintoki fights the winning God.

It would be somehow unfair if Simo goes against Anubis because he would use every dog's weakness and that's peanut butter against Anubis and befriend Anubis. But hey, it's just a theory, a RoR theory!

For some reason I have a feeling that Loki is similar to Envy from Fullmetal Alchemist. He might transform into his "kids", who are the beasts of Ragnarok: Hela, Fenrir and Jormungad.
@mr.monotonyofdiversity2573 Loki is a major catalyst for Ragnarok in mythology, so I wouldn't be surprised if he's pulling strings in the background and maybe even betrays the gods at some point

Some weird reason I just feel Odin is going next. Win his fight carrying it 6:5 thus continuing what ever plot he has in the story then Anubis goes after and loses against whoever carrying it to 6:6 then Loki fights last and something weird happens that cancels his fight half way thru 🤷🏽♂️
