Lexi, it would be best if you tried the translucent face powder they came out last summer, it's called Solar Glow Bare Skin Beautifier Universal Blurring Powder. It brightens up my face without noticing powder or I had makeup. I got it from Harrods because it's too good, so I purchased 2 more just for backup in case they sold out. Highly recommend this one to everyone who doesn't want to wear heavy makeup, just sunscreen and then this face powder; people would say wow, you didn't wear makeup; you look nice. LOL

The first thing I thought was WOW that red lipstick looks amazing on you!! It is your color! 🤩 The only liquid lipstick I’ve liked recently is the Addiction Tokyo, but I honestly don’t try many. But these look so, so good! I want to try one! I also really wanted to try the face powder in the blue and white compact they released last summer, but I don’t see it on the site. It must have been limited edition. Rats!

Hi Lexi great review i love Mascara. I used to have eyelash extensions, for longtime, what a waste of money😂😱, and also damaged my lashes, and this mascara gives me ability to see my lashes. It reminds me YSL faux lash one , which I wore in early 2000’s . You know my powder also arrived all crumbled. I think it’s because it’s so soft🤔. It took so long to receive and it arrived in the middle of holiday preparations, so I didn’t say anything, but after watching you, I contacted, just now, maybe they will replace🤪. I don’t know if it’s my favorite highlighter powder. It was so much hype about the powder😳. Its ok. Maybe I need to try another brush. I used only once, and in the rush. It gave me not so natural look. That second lipstick, i love the color. Its not cool one? Is it? I always have problem to find more nude lipsticks that would fit my complexion🤪. Have a blessed day🙏❤️
I got the D&G Devotion gift set .. travel size parfum, mascara, and a liquid lipstick... i liked all the products... so i was wondering whether i need the highlighter, either... i am already using the Gucci liquid highlighter... i wonder if they would've the same effect on my face......
I don't think you need the highlighter. It sounds like a lot of people received it broken like I did so I would just wait for a future product. The shade is pretty similar to the Gucci already so I think you got the best set!
Aww I'm sad that the highlighter didn't work out as highlight for you, Lexi! My skin shade is similar to yours, and it would likely not work for me either. I wish that the base was sheerer, but I can see how beautiful that can look on deeper skin tones. Packaging for all the products are really beautiful though imo!

Unfortunately it arrived broken, like yours from the airplane ride and then I accidentally dropped it. I tried to purchase it from the Dolce and Gabbana website but there was a spin issue with the shipment, sigh. Can you share which retailer carries it?
Maybe that brush it came with is good for collar bones and shoulders ..lol I can't see anyone using that big wide brush on there face with comfort . But wow a 2 year shelf life u just don't see that anymore . I just can't believe all these brands are coming back out with the matt liquid lips . Did u see cover girl duped the Chanel water fresh tint I think it's closer to the touch one cause it looks like it has more coverage then the regular water fresh. Idk but people are going crazy over it saying it is even better then Chanel . I still can't believe CoverGirl is charging 25$ for a foundation but I think it's at Amazon and CVS if u want to try it . I know it's not luxery makeup but kinda intriguing that people are doing side by sides with Chanel and saying it's better. I haven't bought a drugstore item in years besides a nyx lip liner in nude truffle in years 😂 but I am kinda tempted to try it.
I saw the covergirl! I am very curious but I had an allergic reaction last time I used one of their foundations so I'm wary. Drugstore prices have gotten so high! There isn't as much of a difference with some of the luxury brands anymore. I might give the CoverGirl a try though...
Hi Lexi, so far this brand has no appeal to me. I love Hermes a lot more. The Hermes highlighter is my go to now for everyday and the CDP highlighter in Aura is for special occasion.
