Without any explanation. We don't know if they're still, like, powerful, if Yingyuan has become human, how he overcame the cursed blood of the Asuras... It feels like just a cheap shot at humouring the audience instead of a proper ending to a story that was AMAZING. It was thought out from beginning to end, 59 episodes with close to zero filling. And then, bang, the sorrow of doom. Very bad.
The ending makes me cry...I don't like the ending ...I like happy ending....yumu was left alone..next time please make a happy ending..I love this drama..

Everyone this is the actual ending. These are extra episodes I am a VIP YOUKU member and yes these scenes are legit. Yandan had started a writing troupe she named after her sister. The dragon princess falls in love with a soldier and is getting married, the war God general and the other god woman is seen at Yandan and Yingyuan troupe. The Heavenly emperor is alive also but in heaven celebrating with the other immortals. Then Yumo and the turtle fox couple sees Yandan and Yingyuan comes in. The turtle asked “Where is the trouble maker? She needs to watch him he’s picking up bad habits of a certain someone. He likes to flip me.” She tells him “Don’t call him that, he’s out fishing with the small fox boy.” Yumo tells Yingyuan “Your Goudon is more like her, he likes to depend on others.” She gets at him. They see the flower spirit that died she’s reborn Yumo looks at her. (my guess Yumo might’ve fallen in love with her. Had it been given a chance) afterwards Yandan and Yingyuan talk about their love and happiness for their friends and them. They go off and get married in a lotus 🪷 So yeah it’s real. Also Viki has added these extra episodes for anyone who wants to see them. YOUKU has added two more one cut out scene for Yandan and Yingyuan and one fox and turtle scene.
