Especially when they are fresh and still hot. There is a place near me that trucks their water from NYC to me (an hour from the city) just to have their bagels taste like NYC bagels. They are really close but not perfect, but they make them fresh and hot every morning at 5am and they are delicious

You have to go to any good deli and grab a few half sour pickles and my favorite chopped liver. But I will understand if yall dont get chopped liver as its an aquired taste for sure. I like chopped raw onion and cream cheese and chopped liver on an onion bagel.

Bagels are awesome! I miss the east coast! Working in center city Philadelphia had me spoiled. I live in Kentucky now and there’s just so many things we don’t have here. I never thought about not having a good Jewish deli nearby. Chopped liver. Whitefish salad. Bagels and lox. Pastrami on rye. A good Reuben.
I always eat a plan bagle with cream cheese every morning for the past year and a 1/2 while I'm doing work. I like it. Especially toasted bagel where the cream cheese is oozing out of the bagel!😋😛😜😝❤ Aahh of love.
