Interesting that you chose the Polish version. This build has convinced me to add this to my stash. A very reasonably priced kit. Hope you build that JS-2 sometime.
Again late to the party but glad I’m here now.!.Great part of the series and I learnt a bit when masking those missiles, which has been a head scratcher looking at my kit..Glad the decals work well which is good news..Thanks again for a great upload and all the best from the U.K.Paul🇬🇧🇺🇸👍
Hey Paul, I always need some little trick to help me get masking on round objects done neatly. The cardstock trick works really well. Thanks for giving it a look, greatly appreciated my friend, take care and model on! Johnny
Good choice and colors and a message.Looks good and the log looks like a real lot to me.Keep up the good work always glad to see your videos can't wait for the next one
Thanks Raymond, I wasn't sure about the log, but, I couldn't think of a good way to do it, I think it'll pass as a log, LOL. Thanks for watching, we'll get this finished next week, take care! Johnny
Godd evening Johnny, the build is looking absolutely fantastic, the green looks perfect as doex thd missle , your log looked very realistic, best regards from Australia, Les
Hi Johnny, I'm very impressed with the finish on the missiles and I fully agree that they would look a lot fresher than the vehicle/launcher. The finish on the log looks good too, although, I did have my doubts when you started!! Looking forward to more next week, take care.
Hi Gerry, yes, I had my doubts on the log as well, but it came out ok I think. We'll finish this up next Friday and get to a new build. Thanks for watching my friend! Johnny
Nope, you are totally correct about the missiles, they should be brand new and that a great contrast achieved! Wow, that masking of those missiles was a chore but also a work of art, great job done on every step of this episode Johnny, thanks for sharing, take care and keep up the good work my friend!
Thanks George, it was very tedious masking those missiles, but I think it paid off nicely. Thanks so much for giving it a look my friend!! Have a great weekend!! Johnny

Hi Johnny, apologies, I'm late on parade (2 weeks😢) All caught up now😊... this is turning out fantastic, love the stripes, excellent decision by yourself. The log looks good, I did wonder where you were going with the nickel under tones but was amazed, I shouldn't doubt the hillbilly paint chemist 😂 I heard a tune in my truck the other day that brought a smile to my face, Kyle Daniel ft cadillac 3 Summer down south thumb 👍stay safe see you Friday Sir
Thanks so much Ian! 😊 I've been called a lot of things, most of which you wouldn't repeat in polite conversation, LOL. I think it's more luck than anything. Thanks for tuning in again, you know I always look forward to your comments my friend! Take care and model on. Johnny
Boy, you really are the grand master of masking 🙂Pretty excellent fine motor skills for someone who lugged around tank tracks for a living! But I gotta hand it to ya, Johnny, they turned out beautifully 😍And the log is perfect too - I think I*ll try your method and color scheme on some logs for my two T-34s (if you don't mind me copying you, that is). Can't wait to see it finished. On a side note: this week Jimmy Fallon made the joke "Today is National Tequila Day, and also National Cousins Day. Or, as it is called in West Virginia, Valentine's Day!" - Is that true? Anyway, I wish you a nice weeekend!
Hi Mike, copy me all you like buddy, you'll probably make it work better than I did! On the side note: you know you're doing things right if Jimmy Falon wants to make fun of you, lol. I did a little research and found out that the states that let you marry your first cousins are Alabama, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, New Mexico, North Carolina, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vermont, and Virginia. And it's not criminal to have sex with your sister if you're in New Jersey or Rhode Island, as long as you're of the age of consent, you just can't marry them, LOL!!! This was a fun little research subject and of course my buddy that lives in Virginia is just going to hate that West Virginia isn't on the list, hahahahaha!!! Thanks buddy, take care and model on! Johnny
@@hillbillymodeling Dang, my cousins all are in Wisconsin - but my last address stateside was from Alabama - does that count? I don't want to marry a stranger (again)!!!🙂 That really was fun and interesting, thanks so much Johnny for taking the time to compile that list! But I do still wonder why Fallon's writers chose WV? Is there a general "joke prejudice" against WV common in the States? Or is it just Late Night Talk Show hosts? I mean, we all agree that the butt of a good joke is usually Florida, don't we? 🙂Have a nice and productive week my friend! Mike
@@MikeUSA67 Yeah, West Virginia has always been joked about, but, we have a state budget surplus, along with 32 other states. Jimmy Fallon is in California, they have a $68 billion deficit, we might be hillbillies but at least we know how to count!😂😂Enjoy your week to buddy! Johnny
@@hillbillymodeling I get what you mean, but Fallon is a New Yorker, born and bred, his studio is in NYC (30 Rock). Jimmy Kimmel on the other hand is the one in L.A.!
Very good work on the missiles and decals, Johnny! The thing with the bands on the missiles (IIRC) denotes live warheads and rocket engines versus training ones. The decals you put on are Polish national insignia. It looks like you've got the standard Warsaw Pact decal sheet: Russian, East German, Polish and Czech along with vehicle numbers. It's looking awesome though!
Thanks so much, trying to keep everything going in the right direction, lol. Thanks for the info, greatly appreciated since I'm no expert on the Soviet Block markings. Take care and have a great weekend!! Johnny
@@hillbillymodeling You too, Johnny! I'm gonna try to finish the old Italeri M985 gun truck this weekend! Then moving on to the Hasegawa Me-262A just for something different.
Gotta build me some big flying models of these! 😱😁🤪👍👍🇺🇸
You should! Thanks for watching! Johnny
