This is the first time hearing this too bro. And I understand what your saying, it's seems Chris's mix is way back in the mix, but in saying that it's a Chris Cornell I haven't heard so I love the fuck out of it. When you doing more tool. Please do decending. Love your shit brother 🤘🤘
Thanks man! i freakin' love CC but like i said i could barely hear him. and Descending was one the 1st reactions i did. Its on here. Im doing more TOOL very soon. Something off of Fear Inoculum that everyone has been requesting
You got yourself a crappy version of the recording. There are others out there. Additionally, the (Sealth) referred to in the title is Chief Sealth of the Suquamish tribe here in the Pacific Northwest. Soundgarden changed Sabbath's lyrics to Chief Sealth's words from a letter he wrote to the white chief. SCATHING words that ring true today. Check out a different version that provides the lyrics. Whitey also took Sealth's name and applied it to their newfound city, dubbing it "Seattle." Chief Sealth is buried just up the road from where I sit. First time I heard this I thought it was Sabbath until I heard the singing was off a smidge and the lyrics weren't right. My wife had to correct me. She was huge into Soundgarden back in the day, seeing them in the bars around town before they got huge.

I agree, love Matt Cameron’s playing! He’s the most underrated drummer of this era. So much smoother than Bill Ward, who was incredible by the way.
Check out the Monster Magnet version of Into the Void, that shit gets wild. It goes off in such a bizzare direction.

I didn't like this live recording at all because of the vocal volume, the sound engineer was sleeping..
They also changed the great lyrics which couldn't be heard in this version either.
