    I use Irish Spring bars on my property and it works great for certain animals but not for groundhogs. I have a hydrangea bush with about 6 blooms on it that I just planted not long ago and a bar of Irish Spring hanging right next to it and low and behold, the groundhogs are still eating it. So Irish Spring does not work with all plants.

    They also hate, 12 guage and at longer distances any 30 caliber will do. Good luck.

    Lavender does nothing. Lavender is growing in abundance next to our groundhogs entrance. Obviously the maker of this video didn't try it.

    Ground hogs react poorly too 22lr hollow points, especially when administered intercranially.

      What is it with these robotic voices. I stopped listening after a couple of seconds. I do not find robot voices credible.

      I live out in the country and if we see people letting groundhogs out, you people have a new problem. it's a crime to relocate groundhogs unless you have permission from the landowner.

      Yeah, just let them destroy you. I have a dairy farmer neighbor who lost a cow when it broke its leg. Dead cow and years of lost income. Same for the Amish farmer down the road that lost a draft horse. I myself have had damaged equipment and damaged foundations on out buildings. These rodents don't have enough predators to keep their numbers in check. Do you think the groundhog has more value than a cow or horse?

    • @ladyvirgo013
      @ladyvirgo013 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@HD-J.R. I don't place value by $$$ but to each their own. I have several farm animals and thus far no issues. Since you seem arrogant, I will say this, since my son passed away, I've turned my 15 acres into a bit of a safe zone for wildlife, it's my therapy to watch nature, in fact it's my sanity dealing with grief. I hope you reel yourself back in and think before you speak at others the way you just did to me. Be blessed and im glad I'm not God's creature in your neck of the woods

      @@ladyvirgo013 Struggling family farmers create a safe zone to grow food for people. I never made a personal comment about you, but I see what you value and it's not your fellows. Amazing how quickly you make value judgments. I referenced value as it relates to life. The life value and the human value a dairy cow gives the world and mankind. The same can be said of a draft horse for an Amish farmer. You don't see that value and the ripple effect that loss creates. The suffering to those families, the suffering a struggling family farmer and their children has every year.
      You want to make a political and philosophical argument. I want to fight for my kids, my neighbors and their kids.

      @@HD-J.R. how the f did this turn political in your view? Has zero to do with left, right bs. It's perspective and I choose not to kill for anything other than food. You could have kept scrolling, but you didn't so carry on

      @@HD-J.R. and ya, I grew up around Farmers and Amish, I get it. I also grew up with 2 brothers that kill everything, even if they aren't eating it, then you pass that mindset onto future generations. If that makes you feel like you're helping by killing wildlife for your neighborhood, so be it. Again, my perspective is different than yours and im thankful
