As much as I love Jack, if he showed up in my shower I'd be extremely put out.
My parents always says that TH-cam is just bullshit, and that TH-cam is just a hobby and for people that has no career. My parents also say that I should really stop watching and focus more on my studies. I always refuse to because it will always get me stress out and I always believe that TH-cam helps me relax. But every single words that you AND others TH-camrs say about that your great full for everything, it makes me feel as if not all adults are like that and that it's because parents don't actually take time to just sit down and watch a video where you can laugh with your family. So thank you very much for being the person you are AND for making my day.

I don't think you REALLY know how important you are to your community. My youngest son has been depressed for a long time and last year he finally told me that he had enough. I want to say that he asked for help like you and Mark suggest in your vlogs but he didn't, he told me that he wanted to hurt himself. I called the Dr's office and got him some help.
I have to THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart because it wasn't until after he started watching you and Mark that he wanted to sit and talk about his feelings. I think you guys saved my son's life.

No need for all this insecurity Jack (I know, there is no way to fully avoid it, but I’m just saying). You have one of the best strategies for mixing quick one-timers, silly and slower or story-driven games.
Just don’t rush or over-edit the slower ones and be loud with pride at the others and you will keep doing fine.

+TMLCJLK to some extent he can't get rid of that feeling either though. it's good that he is always trying to improve himself. he doesn't want to get complacent. once you start feeling satisfied with the quality of work it slowly starts to decrease and just leads to a gradual decreasing of acceptable quality. He is good because because he worked at it and wants to get better. Improvement doesn't happen to those who don't seek it.

Self-criticisms and auto-analysis are essential and trying to improve yourself can be a good thing, but insecurity is only a burden that you should fight against and not let it rule over you.
Well you're not wrong. But it's also not that easy. I can't speak for Jack but I know some people would rather use their insecurity as a driving force instead of work up the will to improve on their own. Slightly unrelated though is that some people just feel uncomfortable getting praise for something they don't think deserves it. I got praise one time for hurdling from someone when it was my worst attempt in months. I certainly didn't feel I deserved that. If I was in Jack's position I wouldn't want to be praised either because that isn't what I wanted. He doesn't want to be worshipped. He wants a community of equals. He wants to keep improving and being told it's good enough won't help him improve. ... Stopping before I ramble too much or get too presumptuous.

I find it really hard to look people in the eye a lot of the time, I am always really conscious of it, and I sometimes stare at people and freak them out, but for some reason you make me feel comfortable, I find it really easy to just look at you and not feel self conscious. Thank you for making it seem like you are actually looking at me. It is SOOOOOO much more personal and nice. :)

Hi jack I know you won't see this but thank you for getting me through all the tough times,lay year I went to 11 funerals of people under 60 and I knew all of those people closely. One of them was my 20 year old cousin and yo made me laugh through all of that

Jack I know a lot of people say u helped me get through depression and stuff some are sincere and the rest aren't so much mine is for the record u helped me through my socially awkward phase of life. I use to never be able to confront others and never talk and have meaning full conversations but now I can because u have shown me 2 things 1. no matter how u act people will and should like u for u not appearance or anything else 2. that if u approach someone and they can't like u 4 who u are nor have a conversation then they aren't true friends and i thank u for that and hope one day we could meet or just talk over the internet. much love peace
