- Here John plays a shorter 45+ minute medley to demo the new Roland V-Accordion FR-7X. I cut this marathon medley down to 18+ minutes for TH-cam. John finishes the medley by playing a duet with a track he recorded to the USB memory on the instrument. Enjoy!

Incredible dexterity! Good example of how far one can get with a bit of talent and lots of hand and brain training one can gain mastery of that complicated zebra, piano accordion. Thanks to its vast electronic sound possibilities, now it's even more rewarding to get into it.
Yet, I think the C-system button accordion makes it even easier to get there, but it still requires a huge amount of efforts.

John is unbeliveable he has me doing speed work again. Ive had my FR7x now for 3 months, programming is a little confusin but..I love it!!!. It fills my bucket list. Any good sources for programming short cuts. At 62 years young i would like to play more than program thanks for the video.

The instrument has a balance dail to control the volume between the hands. Also there are 2 more ways to control the volume in the menus.

Fantastic!! Only issue is with bass volume...hard to hear the treble side with the bass overpowering it. Is there any way to independently reduce the bass volume on this instrument.

Some of the sounds it enables one to play don't actually do much for the true accordeon sounds, accordeon music is unique , but some sounds that the FR 7x is capable of doesn't do much for me, I love the original sounds of this instrument
