That was over 30 years ago. I have been blessed to see Alan in concert one time. He touches me with his honesty about his medical condition, having had MS for 28 years now and hearing others say “ oh she must be drunk” really hurts. Alan could be sitting in a chair and everyone of his fans would still run to see him.
