Thank you. I'm not fussy about pencils and mostly use budget friendly Korean and Chinese brands but get Prismacolor and Polychromos cream/ivory pencils separately because the budget brands usually don't have those colors. 🙂
It's beautifully colored!! What kind of pencils do you recommend on Lulu Mayo's books? I think my Lulu Mayo books are hard to lay flat too. I've heard about breaking the spine of a book to lay flat but I've never done that before.
I use student grade pencils so I can't recommend a brand but I've discovered that harder pencils work better on this paper, which is on the toothy side. And some books' spines are *really* difficult to break without the binding falling apart.
Thank you. I really can't pinpoint how long it took me as I was simultaneously coloring in other books but I'd guess about a month or two? The book is a bit smaller than other artists' books so it's a bit easier to get through.Hope you have fun with your bear book. :)
Thank you. I don't have the UK edition of this book but the paper weight in this is very similar to the UK version of A Million Sloths, a teeny bit thicker, even. Both take water mediums fairly well (as long as you don't oversaturate) and I've had no problems whatsoever with the binding. :)
You did a beautiful job completing this book. You really did. I love how you gave your owls rosy cheeks. So adorable!😁
Thank you. I've always wanted rosy cheeks and tend to put them in all the time. (^_^)
Beautiful work! Thoroughly enjoyed how you colored every page, bringing these drawings to life!

So beautiful! Question, is the paper as thick as the UK edition? And how is the binding?
