The Allpowers solar generators are a nice piece of gear to have for running a cooler or charging camera batteries etc. I recently got one and a 100 watt solar panel. I will do a video once I finish testing them.......Take care, Bluefin.

Please let me know when you get your review done. I have had success charging it from the car's cigarette lighter.

Bought one of these and thought there were junk for the money spent on it and value for money.........of course the warmer it is outside the warmer the unit will get.......not good. You'll see that it won't keep things cold enough. You should have got the new ones that has a compressor......those are awesome. We use both on our boat in the summer no matter how hot it gets it will be consistant. The unit you have will not be consistant based on the ambient temperature. We have two, one we use as a freezer and one for a cooler or fridge.........they only use 40-60 watts the ones we have and they are different sizes and different brands.......Bouge RV is our larger one.

We actually got the cooler to use more as a refrigerator/icebox. We have been off on a couple of trips and the food stays frozen/cold for the length of time we need it to. If we plugged it in, the food would probably last longer. When we go for longer trips we might look into an aux cooler like you mentioned. But it works for us now.
