You can use stevia for sugar and just find stevia candy for those candies :). I'm a type 1 diabetic by the way since I was 1. I found out a lot of substations you can use so if you have a question at all just message me.
If you have Diabetes you can eat whatever you please you just give incalin (however you spell it) accordingly. My little sister (7 almost 8) was diagnosed at 18 months with type 1 Diabetes. She eats just like any kid. Ice cream,candy,sugars, and sodas. No she didn't get Diabetes from eating to much of sweets. Not at all. So for type 1 Diabetes there is no "food" for just Diabetics. She can eat whatever. Without sugar maybe better at sometimes but she can eat sugar. Not trying to hate. Just inform.
