I not only love the first few SAW movies, but Ive been playing the hell out of Dead by Daylight (and they have some SAW franchise stuff in there), it's so cool to see such an iconic area from the franchise recreated.

So cool. The rust is great. However, if you are on a budget, baking soda sprinkled onto cheap spray paint works well. Of course, it still needs to be painted.

(Funny thing, I also joined a makers space a few weeks ago here in the south West of France, and designed my next book nook to be cut with their laser cutter)

I did a miniature of the bathroom about 12 years ago. Mine was mainly in MDF, and the tiles was created by pulling the MDF across a stationed saw blade tilted in 45 degree angle, baaarely sticking up. Each tile was 1x1 cm. After the white paint I smeared it with concrete and wiped it away again.
Seeing you working on was like going back to the past and brought back a lot of memories. Excellent job!

The original Texas Chainsaw Massacre stands out in my mind as the Horror movie that evoked the most real fear, real bizarre and unexpected frightening scenes. As I recall, it does have some cool rooms or sets to recreate. But... This is my opinion only, of course.
Love, love watching you make your sets. The attention to detail and realism is fascinating to watch. Thanks for another video!

By the time this film came out I was at the end of my gore and mayhem period so I never saw it. You've certainly peaked my curiosity to watch it now if only to compare your work with the original. Unfortunately, I don't think I have the guts to do it, lol! In any case, the scene is both fantastically disgusting and strangely alluring...which means that you've done a brilliant job! Well done and congratulations on taking the next big steps in your passion. Thanks for the rusty pipes tip, I'm going to use that in my current project.

It never ceases to amaze me how realistic your scenes are. It really does look like the scene right out of the movie! Incredible work!
I think maybe…the bathroom scene or the basement scene (with the mummified mother in the rocking chair) from Psycho might be cool…or the basement from The Conjuring or the abandoned attic with the fireplace from Edward Scissorhands would be interesting. Or maybe the well scene from The Ring!
Or any scene from Silent Hill (game or movie) when the world turns to the nightmare world.

So so many classic scenes in that one that stand alone without figures.

I don't know how well they'd perform as washes but Winsor and Newton makes a waterbased oil paint line. There's a couple other brands as well. I use them for miniatures and traditional painting and it really does take water to clean up rather than any kind of chemicals. They're real oil paints, too. Edit: The end result is mind blowing! I admire not just your ability to create the scene but the lighting / atmosphere effects and camera work as well. Amazing. My favorite horror movie is American Werewolf in London - specifically the subway scene. I'm not sure it would be very creepy in miniature without Oscar (the werewolf prop) and victim. If anyone could do it, though, you could. Not to suggest you should take it on as a project unless you truly wanted to. Just vote of confidence from me.
