I'm glad you put a piece of furniture by the closet door. It doesn't block entirely, but it gives space for the chair. I've gone back and forth with partially blocking a closet door, and now I feel I am okay. Great job, Valentina!

Once again you brought together a calming and beautiful space, where real life individuals can enjoy the space. 🤍 I purchase solid colored pillows with texture only, but we have a mountain home and I purchased a very textured pillow in three soft neutral colors. Love it. So I am embracing the pillows you chose.
Valentina, I love you and your kindness and talent. I love the pillows and linens and curtains and the side tables. I love the plants. I love the black lamp and little side table, by the chair. The little boucle ottomans are adorable and sculptural. The rug is to die for! I wish I loved the creamy caned headboard, but it does not seem to work for me. The artwork over the bed is way too dramatic and busy for me. I would just soften the artwork, and replace the headboard with an upholstered white one. For the smaller size of this room, I would just soften it up a bit.

Y’all are family atp!! Definitely love the bed and bedding! Also look at that when I’m a guest first!! I like having a dresser or the closet empty because in a small room if you have two adults keeping your suitcase open just takes up more space. Being able to even put out all your toiletries and hair stuff definitely is a time saver.

It's funny, when I first looked at this room I thought it was okay (except for the trim). Then when you unveiled this room, I saw how stunning it became. What a fantastic change! *Lighting* . This room is beautifully styled but what impresses me the most is the layered lighting. Removing the shutters, definitely an A+ to expose that gorgeous landscape outside. I have definitely improved my lighting game via watching your room makeovers, including the up-lighting of trees and plants. Layered lighting just makes a space feel magical...love it!

This is an absolutely beautiful transformation, especially since he’s got such a beautiful view outside the windows. I have recently bought that light fixture for our guest room (that is presently being built), I will check out the nails/screws, to make sure we have all the right sizes 😅. Seeing it up made me so excited. I also had some old bedside tables upscaled and had the top draw converted into an open shelf and had them painted black. Gorgeous! Well I would expect nothing less from you. Any guest would feel welcome and special in that guest room.
Of course I can't help myself from pointing out that blue is a lovely calm color for a bedroom. Just not that wimpy yes dingy blue. I paint all my primary bedrooms blue and yes with off white trim. It's not the color blue itself that is off it's the hue, tone, saturation, LRV, etc that are wrong.
While this makeover is stellar for a guest bedroom I would not feel comfortable in my primary bedroom with white walls. Even the creamy white would feel cold to me. I love the calm soothing nature evoking perfect shade of blue in my primary bedroom. Everyone who sees it remarks how beautiful welcoming and calm it is. Color is life.

You could have just opened the shutters. Custom shutters are expensive to install. Save the money for better art.

Best move ever; removing the shutters for those amazing curtains. They look pinch pleated. So many people have those shutters on their windows, and are considered by many to be
the "gold" standard in window treatments, but I think I read that they block 30% of the natural light!? To top it off, they are a lot of work to clean and open every day, so most people end up keeping them closed most of the time, which blocks 100% of the natural light. You your money to get and number of motorized shade options. I got natural woven shades that are motorized, and they are perfect. I can open and close all 17 shades in a matter of seconds. Everyone comments how light and bright my house is. I love the lighting fixture, but it looks too small, jmo. And the artwork looks a little repetitive -would love to see something new like a vintage-style painting, maybe white peonies on a black background? Or a landscape. Valentina, love that blouse you are wearing at the😮 end-perfection on you.

I like the bed and the flowers on the dresser 💗 It appears that the scale of the art over the bed is too large. It overwhelmes the bed and really doesn't work in the space. It may benefit from a warmer smaller piece that compliments the bed. The other art pieces also fell uninspired, imo.

I don’t mean to offend, but I would just like to make one critique, I really would love to see you use more personal art pieces on the walls, instead of the black and white abstract, it would bring everything to life so much more, I just really suggest thinking about it and experimenting a little more with your art choices! Saying that with all the upmost respect, cause I love your work! Just wanna see more of your personality shine through the work you do, and there’s no better way then with art. ❤
Love the furniture but not the bed or the artwork. The artwork is too edgy and I wouldn’t be able to sleep in there. Love the bedding the rug and nightstand and dresser. Of all the options for a bed that looks really old to me. The white did wonders for that room!

Beautiful transformation! However, I think you should have included lights next to the bed for reading, rather than just for mood. It’s a pet peeve of mine when I stay in a guest room that doesn’t provide reading lights. You are so creative. I like your channel.
