I made an Umi Control deck thanks to your videos. I liked the style of the deck and its simplicity along with the control it gives. Do you think it's worth running cards such as Solemn Judgement to counter trap cards as the deck is weak to them and has no direct answer? I was thinking of running 2. Love the content btw. I always enjoy your commentary.
Solemn is only really good going first. The life loss can matter too. Better to run cosmic cyclone since that deals with a lot of problem spells and can be used to clear backrow
I build almost the same deck (different extra deck monsters) but the biggest thing that I missed was that I didn't realize that Horus have a water monster, time evaluate what to remove to add that one
I'm playing memento. Witch is good. Dark blade normal summon is one card combo or special summon off Bone Party is a 1 and a half combo to summon big boss and have 5 on field monster negates and a Change of Heart effect. Only need one big guy. Not all the cards are in MD yet so it gets much stronger. I would keep the cards just for the content mill if you can afford it.

Actually you used the GY effect already that's why you can't activate, cards set by back jack can be activated the turn they are set

The Horus spell stops the umi trap from going off when they destroy your water monster
You can choose not to activate the Horus spell

Its more consistency on getting ice barrier or kairyushin out letting you get the umi lock much easier
