‘Home (Reaching the Stars)’ is community gift music video project featuring an original song composition.
It is organised & produced by Takaradachi Crew in celebration of Alban Knox's Birthday.
‘Reaching the Stars’ was originally conceptualised as an RPG Maker fan game for Alban Knox of NIJISANJI EN’s fifth wave ‘Noctyx’ in celebration of a future subscriber milestone.
‘Home’ is the original song composition to be used as the game's theme song.
Due to complications in the development process including change in staff availability, the game project has been revamped to be a music video project using the song ‘Home’ and accompanied illustrations showcasing the fan game's overall plot and theme: How Alban has received the gift of finding his home in the present.
Happy Birthday Alban! We're always supporting & rooting for you as you continue your journey to reach for the stars. 🎭🕒

It still feels unreal that this project is finally out after over a year of work.
I cannot express how much of a joy it was to work on this with everyone. To the artists who drew the amazing amazing visuals, thank you so much for your hard work. You really poured your love and care into it and it paid off IMMENSELY. To Nat who did the BEAUTIFUL video and for being so incredibly lovely to work with, I'm so happy to have gotten you on this project.
To the org team, thank you for sticking with me throughout and for helping in every way, shape and form. It was an incredible honor to provide the audio work for this. It means so much.

I never get to move on from this birthday song, its a masterpiece with a lot of work and passion from people. They are right, like streamer like fans and u guys executed this perfectly in the impression that i have of Alban and the Takaradachis: soft, gentle and very CARING, i will never get to understand how this is "just a song for their oshi birthday", its more than that, its like a feeling now, this is so good that it actually haunts me and it hits home too, somehow. Absolutely great.

It's out!!! It was an honour to come onboard this project during the game development stage & then get to co-organise the project when we decided to finish it in its final form (mv & website). There were so many late nights poured into this, but also a lot of love for Alban & the community, & everyone really pushed themselves to be as creative and flexible as they could during the process - thank you team! 🥹🧡
