You had the only fix for me after 6 days of watching 20+ vids with no fix. I deleted everything file and restarted my pc so many times. I remembered watching a vid of a dude telling me to delete visual C that is what has been causing the disk error being unable to use the latest version that is required for some apps to run properly thank you truly appreciate it.

@@shauryaxgaming2588 try to run the steam as administrator .. and try to download the game on hdd.. and make sure your hdd is getting enough power to process game..
And if you are using any external drive then try to add it in Device manager in your windows too ..

What if I copy the installed game files to my hdd?
Can steam verify "those files" not the ones installed on ssd? and then just launch the game?
I haven't tried but don't want to copy my 50gb data to hdd it will take a lot of time 😔

It works a bit only for a few days.
After i install Armored core VI, it would work just fine but then after a few days it would just give me the disk write error again am i doing something wrong?
I used method 2
Ps: its only this game that gives me the error every other game works just fine

all these methods works for lifetime.. Make sure you verify the integrity files of your game and make sure you have enough space on your drive too. The important thing is that you always run your steam as administrator or you have to follow Method 1. After then try other methods.

It's working fine for me and for all others too. But if you are still facing any issues... Then try to change your Steam directory path to another drive, or try to reinstall Steam.

Hey bro i need your opinion... When i run games on my SSD ( c drive ) the steam shows disk write error ... The game takes a lot of time to optimize shaders
If i run the same game in my HDD there is no disk write error and game opens up faster than ssd ( in time taken to optimize shaders )
Can a corrupt ssd cause this issue ? I recently bought this ssd

If your SSD has not much storage remaining or shows a red color, then this problem occurs. It is not a problem with the SSD. Your SD is good.
