I read the first 4 chapters, and was going to give the book to a library, but your video is encouraging me to get a little further and make a decision then. Thank you!
I am a late arrival to the party, being the year 2021. Having picked up "Villette" due to my love of the Brontes, I began reading and was soon puzzled over parts of the content. Your videos have been so helpful and have put the missing puzzle pieces into place. I'm beginning the third section of the book but feel so better prepared for what is to come. I'm looking forward to your wrap-up once I finish the book. Thank you so much for doing these videos!!!
This book is fascinating!! I can really empathize with her! This is what I have always felt about dating and getting into a relationship, totally not belonging and feeling like a wallflower.
Saoirse, when you have "claws in flesh", it's okay to stop for a moment and tend to the injury. I found it very interesting that you continued to read while you must have been feeling pain. It's kind of humorous (since the injury was minor) but you are a very determined person. I love your interpretations.
I love these kind detailed discussion videos on books, especially Victorian Literature. There’s always so much to say or appreciate.
