This is one of the few times they did a storyline on a serious issue about science but more specifically about physics. And they have some pretty strong criticisms on its lack of results from high concept theories and the billions spent. Too bad their resolution is just them sending a drunk email.

Rajesh is an astrophysicist, a field that has been very productive lately due to improving telescope technology. Leonard could become a full-time physics teacher at a college somewhere. Sheldon is the only one who is trapped in a shrinking profession.

The Show was always great. Being a 279 epi show...makes it difficult to maintain the same quality in every episode.But the later seaons..had good story progression and character developments.along with comedy. The show wouldn't have been such a superhit and longest. running comedy..if it would have remained creepy like in the initial seasons.
Since they introduced Amy and Bernadette it started getting downhill
You know penny does have her moments of actually saying stuff that happens to be right some time or another so even though she is not the most brainy one of the group she does give good advice at times from Marcus in australia.
