We were blessed with the most wonderful God Fearing Mother that one could have hoped for. I have no doubt, that with Christ's soon return, Mum will be taken up to meet Him in the air, & so shall she ever be with the Lord. Four years ago, my husband used a gun to end his life at our home. I lost my mind. I pleaded with God every night to let me die soon. I couldn't face the hours or the days in front of me. Two years after his death, I had a "minor" surgical procedure to treat stage 2 cancer. After the procedure, I bled out and died. I was dead (no blood pressure and no pulse) for more than ten minutes.
I was so grateful to be in the presence of the angels and the Holy Ghost. Finally, I was enveloped in peace and light, and surrounded by God's perfect love. The angels told me that I needed to come back. I told them that I couldn't return to that horror that was now my life.
The angels told me that if I agreed to return, I'd be healed of all the grief and the emotional pain and the terrible nightmares. They said that I had been taken to heaven for healing, but that I needed to go back to earth.
More than anything, I yearned to do the will of God, so I agreed to return. Upon my return, I was a different person. The soul-shattering grief and despair that had been my constant companion was gone.
I was hospitalized for several days, and it was affirmed that I had bled to death. During this time, I felt like I was more in *that* world than this one. The angels stayed right with me in that hospital room, and sang to me and talked to me and comforted me.
I had been born again. I was a "new person in Christ" in every sense of the word. That was two years ago. After I returned, I changed everything about my life, sold off all my worldly belongings, got in my car and went 1000 miles due west to start a new life.
BTW, after my return from heaven it was affirmed that every vestige of the cancer was gone. Not one cell left behind. But the real healing was the restoration of my soul.
Even "thought was a cross that raised me" I can finally say that I am grateful to have passed through this hell so that I could find heaven. This song brings tears to my eyes because it bespeaks the truth of our life under the protecting of the Most High God.
