My basketball coach did something very bad in the 50s so his father took his car from him. One day we went to his parents home. He knew I loved cars and I was driving my '56 BelAir Coupe in high school. This was in 1975. We went to the garage and there it was. An original '51 Mercury with 7,000 miles on it. When his pops took his car, he never let him have it back. I sat inside this car, turned the key on and pressed the starter button. The sound was perfect! The car was perfect!

What a stunning piece of work! This builder obviously loves his work. His care and pride in his art proves it out! Perfect colors in and out. What's NOT to love? At first I was confused ... I thought that the tail lights appeared to be of the 54 Merc, then you mentioned them! This builder's work is obviously some of the best anywhere. Thank you for sharing! Well done.
What a magnificent job on that 51. Not too much to take away from the original body style but upgrading to make it easy to maintain and drive every day if you wanted. Volo has the best selection anywhere.
