I’m late, but just started a build of my own design and the lines of this boat are beautiful. Man, you did an awesome job. I hope she’s still treated you well. Also lived in Corolla for a few years and it’s definitely Gods country.
Thanks and I’m drafting up something of my own for the future. Bout ready to build another one. This one did wonderful ended up trading it straight up for a bass boat . The guy loved it so much was an offer I couldn’t refuse being I’m mainly a bass guy but I love chasing trout and reds from time to time. Thanks for the compliment and hope your boat turns out wonderful. It’s a good feeling at the end of a build to put it in the water.
Yeah there’s foam under all the flooring except one spot for a drain and bilge pump I’m pretty sure the plans have the entire floor foamed but I wasn’t crazy about relying on scupper drains in the transom so I left a access area
The battery is stored in the console and yes I ran 3 pvc from bow to console and 2 pvc to the bilge access 1 tube was solely for drainage from the bow hatch but others for my wiring
That's very well done sir. I like your color combination. I am building an FRS-18 Flats and I am not certain yet what combination I will go with. What brand paint did you use?
Thanks the sea foam green is total boat and the white is interlux which I would recommend if they have a color you like. it flows extremely well where the total boat I’m not to impressed.
@@tanicwaters Well I haven't chosen a color yet, but I was thinking of going with Alexseal products because of the rolling additive option. Thanks for the info. I'll check out Interlux as well.
This is pretty much what I'm looking to build. Great job
Thank you
Nice job! She's a beauty. Great lines. 😎

@@tanicwaters thank you for that.
Beautiful!
Very nice
I would like to have a working plan for that boat. I've never built a boat, but I plan to build something functional that I need
Salt boat works has a plan I made a lot of changes to this one but overall the hull is the same
What plans did you use?
Salt boat works plans is what I used for the hull
Thank you
Mighty Fine…
Nice build. Any idea of the hull weight? Also, what size motor did you mount?
It’s probably 400 but I’ve added a lot of extra material to it and I have a 25 hp pushes it with just me and my gear about 24-27 mph
No Foam in the rear ? Bought plans curious want to put a above deck in the stern ?

you made some alterations to the plans, no?
Yeah a few
Where do you store your battery? And did you run a pvc tube through the hull to put your cables for the battery and buttons?
The battery is stored in the console and yes I ran 3 pvc from bow to console and 2 pvc to the bilge access 1 tube was solely for drainage from the bow hatch but others for my wiring
