AKAI MPD Pad Sensitivity Mod Upgrade (simple fix)

- This mod can be done on the MPD18, MPD24, MPD32, also on the Akai MPK49, MPK61, MPK88 and possibly more MPC models.
This mod fix pads (increase pad sensivity). After this no need use "FULL LEVEL". After this no need buy MPCstuff pads.
This mod will void the warranty. Use smooth bike tire inner tube for greater result. (or 4 layers black electrical tape). Use caution when attempting this mod. I am not responsible for your mishaps. I use a bike tire inner tube to upgrade the MPD26. In my opinion this mod works great, makes the pads a lot more usable. Good luck.
Best Video I found regarding these pads. Additional advice: you don't have to remove all the knobs and put all that green stuff out from the inside.

I did this tonight, but the tire was too thick and only the middle pads work. I even shaved off the lines on the rubber a second time. I tried cardboard instead, which worked, but it's still hard to hit 122 velocity. I pulled them out again and ugh without the shims the sensitivity sux. I have a PadKontrol, and this is so much superior in every way padwise, but it doesn't have the faders etc.
