Waterproofing for Roof Deck

We used PIONEER PRO WATER-TITE 401 for the roof deck.
A. About the product
Pioneer Pro Water-Tite 401 PU Plus is a single component water-based polyurethane liquid waterproofing membrane that can be applied seamlessly and has a minimum of 500% elongation at break with better tensile property that can be left unprotected for interior and exterior waterproofing.

● Terraces, Balconies and other wet areas
● Roof tiles
● New and old concrete
● GI roofs (can help renew and strengthen old metal roofing with just two layers of application)

D. How to (step by step application)
1. Surface Preparation
● Ensure your chosen surface is free of dust, oil and grease.
● Lightly dampen your chosen surface with water but ensure that no water pools before application.
2. Mixing
● It is a ready-to-apply mixture. Just pre-stir the material in a plastic pail prior to application.
5. Application
● Apply the first coat smoothly in two or three swift strokes.
● After 3-4 hours, do a touch dry test, then apply the second coat evenly.
● If you use a roller, apply the second coat crosswise, or 90Degrees from the first coat. Two layers are enough. A third coat is optional.
6. Curing
● During curing, protect from rain and direct sunlight.
