Your husbands kids are not your husband, they are their own person, they are your partners history in human form, you should be accepting of them if they came before you but poetry of you’ll love his kids if you love him, life has shown me is not always unrealistic & an unfair expectation to the person who did not choose to have them, sometimes the love grows sometimes it does not, & that is the reality of it.
This is so honest. I think people just like humbling women by making them feel responsible for a man's actions. It's good to be a positive adult in the stepkids' life, but you don't owe them anything. It's an unfair expectation on anyone to want them spread themselves thin for kids whose mothers are still alive.
My husband outside kids should ger maintenance and he should spend time with them outside our home. Their mother chose to have them on the outside, and that where they'll exist. When mine and hers grow up, they can form a relationship if they choose to.
