Ben your 100% absolutely right. I live in this area and there is absolutely no parking that close to beach. You can make a killing with a proper car parking garage. The city has a lot of events by the beach and everyone walks over the bridge. You have a good vision. Love every episode. Keep it coming.

@@_MM03 Honestly totally depends on where you live and if you have a roommate. Personally I can’t afford downtown living yet. I split a 2/2 with a roommate near Lauderdale by the sea and we both pay $900. 13ish mins from downtown and a bit under 3 miles from the beach. Can Uber downtown for $20 or less and bike to the beach in less than 15 minutes so I’m totally fine not being in las olas and paying 3k for a studio
Vincent is really growing into a fine young businessman. Really impressed with how far he has come so far. I catch these videos once every six months, and it's night and day. Way to go, Vince!

Every time I'm in Fort Lauderdale, I go to that hooters (and the French bakery/café next to the bridge). Get a table over the road so you have the sea breeze hitting you but shaded by the building. Its been at least a year since that escalator broke down. For awhile, they had a stage set up in the court yard. Every store in there is like a revolving door except for the hooters. The bars / restaurants that are road side between Las Olas and that building are always packed day and night.

Ben- do some research on the history of Beach Place. It is a gold mine just needs to be cleaned up and reinvented. We re locals one beach all the time and locals avoid Beach Place because it is dirty and has a bad rep for not giving a chit. Hooters and Lulu's Baitshack are the only two busy places. And your idea of making unit there can't and won't happen. Ben nailed it - NO VIBE. It also where the hoodlums like to go and start trouble hence the amount security. Talk to city as they were almost closed donw a few times with security issues. And no it is not alive at night.
Keep us updated. 50 million seems like a lot for so many empty boutiques that people gave up on. Good luck! Those kiosks in the main courtyard definitely gotta go. Extra walking space would be more valuable.
