- After working with STEVE VAI for about 200 shows now, I made a video some weeks ago about my life touring with him. Many people liked the video and I decided to follow some comments and DM that I received and make a new one with the most interesting questions that I had. This was taken during the Asian/Oceanian leg of the "Inviolate Tour 2023". We did China, Taiwan, Japan, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, and finally Australia. It's been probably the best tour I've ever had...

I've enjoyed Steve's shows over the years, but this tour, man - what an event, when you think it couldn't get any better, Steve and Co. shift it up a gear. Congratulations Dani on an awesome tour. Thanks a bunch for coming all the way down to New Zealand too. Kia ora.

Thankyou for your work! I told Carlos how good the mix was , I was wearing the purple shirt and crazy guitar pants! @Blayne! Thankyou for the compliment on my outfit!! haha :D We got to meet Steve after the show (and Dante and Jeremy too!) even though we couldnt afford VIP tickets. He was the most gracious and humble guy! I even got a hug. Will be uploading my footage of the concert soon. I got about 50% of it (was worried about storage and battery). Cheers! oh and Dani G! That opera singing over For the Love of God was incredible and very very special! We did see you as we hung out at the back entrance after the show but you were busy working and we didn't want to be rude or get in the way! Hope to cross paths again and all the best for the future!!

Actually Steve said "jefe" with American accent. It means "boss" in Spanish, which is something we called him many times during this tour 😉
Sorry buddy, knew I screwed up the spelling 🤣. But just know, you did an amazing job on the tour altogether (I didn’t even come to the shows and I can see that). However, when you sang on “For The Love Of God”, I honestly think you brought that song to a height it has almost never reached. The voices of you and EVO/FLO merged together so magnificently that you, Steve and the guitar channelled the meaning of the song in a way it has never been delivered before, a cautionary statement on the contrast on what all religion is meant to be and what radical followers can turn it into, and unfortunately this irony Steve wanted to project in the song has become a chilling reality. You brought words to a lyric-less song in what may be perhaps one of the most difficult times humanity has suffered. To me that’s no coincidence, and it’s also no coincidence that when I heard this version with you, the song awakened me more than ever. I know I’m going off on a tangent, but I had to say this stuff. Just…well done Dani, amazing job on all of it. Our world is extremely lucky to have incredible souls like Steve Vai, but he’s incredibly lucky to have had you on this tour. And it’s brilliant that he recognised your talent enough to invite you to join him on performing a song delivering a message that now matters more than ever…
This all seems glamorous…until you’ve lived life on the road. ☠️
Actually my life on the road has been always really good. I could have recorded any other random day and it would have been even cooler.
@@DynamitaStudiosChannel Yeah...I was referring more to being the main performer. Fans only see the magical "show" and the fame. They don't see all the loneliness, the being pulled in countless directions by everyone demanding your time, the expectation that you have to always "be in character," and especially HAVING to perform when the last thing on Earth you want to do sometimes is...perform.

I have so much emotions watching this video and I really want to thank you Dani for sharing it with us. "Touring" with you in Europe and Canada in 2022 and 2023 was such an amazing experience. And I feel so blessed to have met the whole team, you are such an amazing family and such kind guys. Life is not always easy for any of us but sharing time with such passionate, brilliant and positive guys really made my life so beautiful and special this year. I wish I could have attended every shows of this tour and I wish Inviolate Tour never ends. Because those moments are precious and because it is so difficult to leave fantasy to come back to the real world ! Thank you Steve Vai's family for making our lives better . Love you all from Paris
