My mom always told us that. Just because we're poor doesn't mean you should be a slob, be proud of the things you do have and appreciate it for we could have less.
She definitely seems like she’s on drugs, she’s upset she’s about to withdrawal. Also, her saying she didn’t want to go to the hospital because they treat her bad is a big red flag. They probably know what she’s on
100% that’s what my mom was 😂😂 she gave me and my siblings an evil glare as she was put in cuffs by the officer. It makes me mad at her and me that I started crying even harder at 😂😂 memories huh
Right? Being poor doesnt mean you have to live dirty! My mom had 5 of us kids. We barely made ends meet but you could eat off of her floors! Every other Saturday she would pull all furniture out, clean behind it and rearrange it. 3 of my younger brothers were in diapers at the same time. They never had saggy diapers or even diaper rash. There is no excuse for it. I feel like a lot of this generation of women were born without that natural mothering instinct. Its sad. I hope those lil ones are taken away from those POS parents and placed with a family that takes care of then instead of locking them in a bedroom in soiled diapers.

Those are some exceptionally nice neighbors. My parents were worse than this lady, and they threatened that the neighbours will call the cops on me if I scream in agony back when I was a kid.
She's literally crying for being arrested and not the fact that her children are living in conditions deemed unsafe. I am not the richest or best mom, but a clean diaper, full sippy cup, and a clean home goes a long way.
So true, I'm raising my grandaughter and she's 2y/o and I'm literally living paycheck to paycheck, but she's healthy, smart, and beautiful, the greatest joy in my day is when she wakes up in the morning and we pick her clothes out together and do her hair up. I beat myself up for a situation my daughter put me in but I'm doing the best with I have and I'm doing a good job where it counts. I see people like this and it makes me sick, bugs everywhere and the little one screaming for mom...so sad.

I thought she said the kids uncle just left... Not meaning her brother, but maybe their dads brother? And cousin being the dads family. She may not have family around but he did.
My dad was a single dad for years with no government assistance and making less than 20k per year and there was never a day where I didn’t eat, wasn’t bathed, or didn’t have clean clothes. I am forever grateful for him and his example shows that low income is no excuse for child neglect
Wow! Amazing dad. It's very rare for a single dad to bring up child/children well/successfully! Other men may look for other women to help them in raising their children. Kudos to your dad! ❤️❤️❤️
So the Mom has 3 very young children all under 3. One child only 7 days old. Do any of you get this situation? For probably the last 3 months this woman was pregnant and caring for two other babies as well. BABIES WHO ARE OF AN AGE TO BOTH BE EITHER TEETHING AND CONSTANTLY CRYING, SOILING A DIAPER EVERY TIME YOU TURN AROUND AND IN THE PROCESS OF POTTY TRAINING AND WEANING FROM A BOTTLE "PLUS" HIGHLY MOBILE!!! GOOD GOD! I HAD ONE KID AND HAD A HARD TIME KEEPING MY HOME PICKED UP AND I AM A VERY METICULOUS HOUSEKEEPER! Shame Shame Shame on you illiterate and rude people who called in the dogs in on this poor family! You should have been over there offering to care for her older babies while she recovered from her pregnancy and most likely a tubal ligation! Civilized people would have offered assistance WAY before this night! Civilized people know when a woman is in her 3rd trimester her energy is inadequate to care for a home and other children as she would usually do. That is when civilized people offer to step in and actually help their neighbors!!! She had a 7 day old baby and she says towards the end of the video that she has no family to help her with the kids... So not only was she in the recovery process, she also had a newborn, a very mobile 1 year old and a rambunctious 3 year old to feed, cloth, clean, teach, love and nurture, and it sounds like she also had a husband to feed and clean up after who was probably working most of the time to pay for the needs of the family. It makes me sick that an employee of some agency can recommend a parent be denied their inchoate right to raise their own child, and the government enforces the insane removal of the children. Who is that agency to do so without a guilty verdict of your peers? Who are they to circumvent the God given rights that are guaranteed by the Constitution on such evidence as the cleanliness of your home? It is sickening and sad! FKN Cop callers! I hate cop callers! Help someone when they are down! It's the civilized thing to do!

I don’t think so my man, I don’t agree with Tina, but in order to maintain control of the situation the second officer stated the problem in a better way, setting “the tone” like you said can make a whole lotta problems and put the children in danger. In the end of the video the mother started banging her head on the window. As a police officer you don’t know if the parents are intoxicated or not, personally I grew up with addicted parents, crystal and all that shit can make you think your own 2 year old child are the actual danger. Just so u can see how wrong it could had gone just by the tone of the situation my man.
@@TinaShay Maybe she shouldn't have had so many kids that she was unable to take care of, then? Or gotten help from the cousin whose home they were taken to after mom was arrested? Or surrendered custody? Etc, etc?? There were choking hazards in the room, a loose window screen for an open window, they were locked in from the outside while screaming for their mom (imagine if there had been a fire and mom slept through it or left in a tired haze while her kids were unable to get out the door?), there's additional info that there was a foul stench coming from the residence, sagging diapers that appeared to have been unchanged for hours, and a woman who looked as if she'd either just been woken up or was drunk or was in the midst of an opiate/opioid nod (none of which is even remotely acceptable when the kids are wide ass awake and surrounded by things that endanger them). On top of all that, this apparently wasn't even the first time she'd been called on. Fuck that. I'm glad she got arrested. I hope those kids are safe now, from her gross negligence and child endangerment.
Such a ignorant comment. She’s obviously addicted to opioid’s. No other caretaker either. If she didn’t love them she woulda dropped them off at a center and sold her house for some H

My dad died when I was 4 and my brother was 10. Our mom had never so much as written a check before (it was the 60's and our Dad was possessive). She got TWO jobs, kept a 2 br ranch house clean (no help from us kids) and managed new clothes for school every year and good home cooked food on our plates. Hardly any "welfare" available then either. SHe had $350 a month SS and some money from veterans since my Dad served in WWII. Oh, and EVERY CHristmas we had presents. She did have her parents to watch us while she worked, at least for the first 5 years. Mom was the BOMB! Lost her at age 90 in 2020.
Yeah, back then you could ACTUALLY do that. You couldn't DREAM of doing that today as a single parent. Ur mom was great but that shit ain't happening these days get real....
I’m surprised no one spoke of the strobe light in a dark room. It’s psychological torture. It’s heart breaking. The foster system sucks too, but the mom is a disaster. She can’t have those kids, she doesn’t want them enough and she is hurting them. She’s a sick fuck
She's not upset about her kids. How could she ignore her kids calling for her? She didn't want to go to the hospital because she's on drugs and knows it will show up.
She was probably nodded out from drugs. Look at slurred her speech and stuff was. I don’t see how else a parent couldn’t hear their kid(s) screaming like that unless they were heavily sedated or something.
She honestly doesn't give me the junkie vibe... She gives me the lazy & mentally ill vibe, but I'm not ruling drugs out by any means. Depression is a mother fucker. I struggle everyday with it & I've been her, not the extent they're describing but close to it. And I'll be honest I don't know how I never got the kids removed. Mostly because the case worker knew the situation & that I was moving 1300 miles away from the abusive situation. But my mental illness has been a constant issue much like this. Difference is I will own up to it. When I look back I get mad at myself all over again. But I busted my ass to make changes.
Please, if you see child abuse, report it. So many children face neglect not only at the hands of their parents but by their community who look the other way. These neighbors are a great example of how everyone should respond to child abuse, making numerous reports until something gets done. I sincerely hope these kids and their mother get the help they so desperately need.
I am a single father. Have had full custody of my daughter since she was two (now 10) because her mother was a drug addict. I found this out when I showed up to her house to pick her up and found my daughter on the couch with a full diaper crying her eyes out while looking through a window. I pounded on the door while calling the cops, and she finally answered after about 5 minutes. Those five minutes seemed like an eternity. I truly believe I saved my daughter's life. Good on these cops.
Lucky those kids had YOU to go to. I can tell you first hand that kids that go into the system, dont necessiarly get good foster families. A lot goes on in these houses that inspections do not show. Just because a house is not clean does not mean that there is not other abuse going on in my case it was sexual. So many comments here from these do gooders who get invovled and then the kid gets seperated from the only person they have ever known, and put into a system where they are molested or abused in other ways. Thank God you were there to get your child.
The neighbors who didn’t turn a blind eye to this situation are heroes here as well. Too many times we see people that don’t want to get involved and it results in tragedies. *edit. Thanks for all of the likes everyone. ♥️
@@NZtrillion They are most definitely not cowards! That is beyond clean up. Those kids were clearly not being taken care of properly for a long time. Most likely their entire lives. The dirty house was not the main factor for the decision of removal. There was also a baby girl that she left unattended in the house while she came to the door and was outside. They don’t not only remove the children but criminally charge BOTH parents from having kids in just a “dirty house”.

just because kids are loud and scream alot doesnt mean the parents are always bad parents. in this situation yes because the living conditions the kids are in are poor. when i was a kids i had very strong lungs i could scream so loud and for long period of time. my parents would put me in time out for hitting them or my sibling and i would be put into my room until i calm down so i can listen and understand what i did wrong. as a kid i would scream very loud in time out so much so that the neghbours would call the cops because they throught my parents was neglecting me as i was yelling so loud for long period of time multiple times of the week. My parent werent neglectful at all tho and i was just a very naughty kid and my parents were doing the right thing. its not their fault that i just have a loud screaming voice and the neghours would call the police. when the police did arrive they could see that i was just a naughty kid playing up for not like being in time out in my room. so they never accused my parents for any wrong doing and they can see im well looked after in a good living conditions. It still wasnt fair that my parents had to deal with police visiting often just because the neghbours couldnt understand what the situtaion was about. so i would never just assume every time a kid is loud and screaming next door to me as it being a situation of child neglect. off my personal experience.

@@jimmyrustles43 it sounds like the child is at the age where he can actually do things for himself critical for his survival. The kids in this video were toddlers, which are more at-risk; toddlers need constant supervision and guidance in order to survive as they are not at a sustainable stage. They need help eating (as they could easily choke if not supervised), going to the bathroom, and cleaning themselves so they don’t get infections from bacteria buildup. Your kid sounds older, at a stage where he can clean himself, eat without supervision, and can ultimately keep up on his essentials for living (obviously not financially, unless said kid is 18+ where it is no longer the legal responsibility of the parent; maybe morally, but not legally). Yup same for me. And I 💯 agree. I don't think she was taking so long to answer the door cos she was gouching out on the couch the whole time. I think your right she had been. Looks like she was using when police got there, (& even when after taking a shit load, I'd notice the blue lights of Cops flashing through the window). I'd bet she was brought out of being out of it on the couch with the police turning up, & took so long to answer the door cos she's been like shit I need to hide foil or needles ect. And stash her drugs. To me she's not crying a single tear from being taken from her kids, but cos she's goin to jail & her drugs are in the house. But wtf she seemed surprised 1, they were there for her & 2, she was gonna get arrested. So to me the extra tears were going to jail, realising she'd stashed her drugs sum where inside, not in a "way" she could take them with her, so straight away she knows she's gonna be rattling soon. And congrats on that long clean. I've been clean of stimulants (what were legal highs, ones meant to mimic coke or meth (which is rarely seen over here). They were the strongest drug I've ever took & psychologically more addictive than heroin. I got so bad my already m / h cond was out of control. They were real hard to stop even after the UK ban on all RCs, could still get them. I'll have had 4 yrs off them this month. And know how hard it is esp the beginning. So 3 plus yrs clean off heroin is great. Unfortunately I went back to heroin after stopping that. But apart from if I get into withdrawal, which I rarely do, it doesn't cause me anywhere near as many problems as stims & alcohol. Know this is way off topic now lol. But I also know for all I got into more trouble, except shoplifting with alcohol & stims. I also know that stopping completely is hard af. I've only managed 13 wks. So yeah was way off topic, but just wanted to say from someone who knows all to well how it goes. That having 3.5 yrs clean is a huge achievement.

@@HaLfCrAzEdCaNuCk That is why historical and lingual context is important. Modern society, especially (but not completely) critics of Christianity, are incapable of seeing anything biblical in their original context. I believe that it someone sees something they can make God look bad with, they’ll use it, they don’t care about the Reality of what it‘s saying. I will begin with Deuteronomy 21:18-21. Firstly, I’ll say that there is no record of this punishment ever occurring. Because of phrases like, „all of Israel will hear, and shall fear.“ lead scholars to believe the law is actually pedagogical. Secondly, ‚son‘ in the passage does not actually mean a child. It most likely means a young man, possibly a first born. He is of accountable age, and his parents accuse him of being, just as the Passage says, rebellious and evil. His sins are not just the occasional mistake, he is a repeat offender, someone who ignores the law, elders, and even his own parents. His actions will result in him wasting his inheritance, and destroying both himself and his family. He is a threat to his family, social order, and The covenant of The Lord. I‘ll let Paul Copan speak as he is certainly better at this than I am, „The son, probably a firstborn, would inevitably squander his inheritance when his father died; he would likely bring ruin to his present and future family. He was like a compulsive gambler who bets away his home and life savings right out from under his family’s feet.“ As for the original verse, „thou shalt beat him with the rod, and thou shall save him from sheol.“ There are a few different explanations for this. 1: The verse quite literally explains itself. It says that the punishment will Save the child‘s life. The Hebrew word for death being Sheol, and rod, Shebet(meaning a large stick with spikes on it.) Striking a child with a weapon of such would not do anything to help save them from death. Therefore the passage cannot be literal, otherwise there would be a contradiction. Proverbs is indeed poetry, most of what you read within the book is figurative. We should discipline out kids gently and humbly, in ways of which will actually benefit their faith. I personally agree with this interpretation as it has the most scriptural evidence. 2. The Bible is not endorsing child abuse, but rather regular physical punishment with something like a switch. It does not mean to get a stick with nails in it and swat your child with it every time they knock a drink over or a say a bad word, but rather to lead them away from things such as theft or cursing with spanking, or something similar. Either way, the passage states that the actions of the parent to spare the rod would be evil, and that disciplining your child is loving. Harmful and unnecessary anger towards your child and their actions, expressed in physical abuse, is evil itself, and would in no way strengthen their faith in Christ or justify your faith with righteous fruit.

The screaming for the parents has absolutely brought me to tears. I could never imagine that fear or desperation in my own child’s voice. Those poor babies
Every time someone says some version of this shit to me it makes me just look at them like... do you want to see neglected and abused children, is that why you go around telling people to have kids when they’ve already decided not to?? Because some of us ARE NOT MEANT TO BE PARENTS. For good reason.
As you people really think people plan to have a child... Like unwanted pregnancy does happen. Then you got this thing called a conscious. Which some women just cannot go and kill there unborn child. For all sorts of reasons which is each to there own. smh at the small brain. Life is so much more complex and unpredictable for easy answers.
As a parent and Firefighter (15+ years) this boils my blood! I've reported so many dirtbags knowing the state never does shit about it. Good on these officers!
how would u feel if u had a child removed from a dirty home that had parents that loved it, and then put into a home with biological strangers that 50/50 chance will molest it. how would u feel knowing u got a kid removed from a stinking house to a house of molestors? or would u say its not ur fault u didnt chose the house sorta logic even though u got the ball rolling
@@soulsreaper7145 In my own personal opinion, parents don't love their children if they don't take care of them. My best friend is adopted and experienced the foster system, he was there because of parents like these. Unfortunately it took the death of his little sister (due to malnutrition and other less pleasant things) before he and his two older siblings were removed from a situation very much like that. By your standards then, they weren't "abused" sure, but understand... neglect IS abuse. And its not ok to tolerate or defend that because of "potential threats" elsewhere. Your views on this make very little sense, because those children are actively in a bad situation. What if they were moved to a kind and loving family? And assuming biological family doesn't molest children is really naive. In fact, in many if not most cases, children are molested by biological family members or close family friends. So while I can somewhat understand where your coming from, and I do see it comes from a place of care and concern for the children, I think you're worried about the wrong things. While it would be fantastic if the parents decided to turn their lives around for their children and stopped using drugs, and taking advantage of the money they receive from the government for having children; it seems unlikely in this situation. I believe its an unfortunate necessary "evil", in cases like this. Those children are not cared for or safe, and its really something that should be addressed. And I absolutely can say 100% that our adoption and foster care systems are nowhere near as good as they should be. But its there. And thats important.
My mom was disabled and poor and a single mom, and I am so THANKFUL to her that she did the best she could! Seeing videos like this reminds me that so many little babies are not so lucky. I hope they are with their grandparents now or something.
Children scream and plead for their lives while they are being abused, tortured and murdered. Where are your angels little flower??? Only people can help them, if you hope a God or angels will help, thats the signal for YOU to stand up and make a difference.
They were screaming for juice. That doesn't say neglect. My kids at one point or another probably screamed for juice, and they weren't neglected. They just weren't allowed to have juice when ever they wanted. Lol
@@Essouza81 Maybe they were screaming for juice bc they’re hungry and thirsty? Who knows how long they were locked in that room for. You can’t compare their awful situation to your situation with your kids. That’s really shitty.
That’s why I encourage abortions. If you can’t handle raising a child or if you don’t want a child then don’t birth one. Pregnancy is too dangerous to the body for women like her to not properly care for her children
Fr also ik this is a change of topic but this is one of the reasons why abortion should be legal everywhere because honestly some people shouldn't have kids and they probably know they shouldn't but still do and fortunately in this case many neighbors called the police to check on the kids but most of the time this isn't the case because many just don't care and those children grow up to have mental and physical issues in life
@@snatuiolvi abortion isn’t necessarily the answer. The only reason I say this is because , abortion would be a choice , not something to “force”. Most often, people who shouldn’t be parents, are actually choosing to just keep their child, or they are choosing to plan for a baby in the first place. Trust me, I’ve seen certain people who are not prepared for it choose to have a baby. Some of them actually wanted to believe that they can have a family but are un aware they wouldn’t be ready for such a thing. So although yes abortion would make it easier for the people who CHOOSE to not want a child. It still won’t do anything about those situations where the mother doesn’t go with it. For all we know. This mom probably chose to have those kids, and to make it clear there is nothing saying you will be forced to keep you kid either. If you truly didn’t want a kid or knew you weren’t ready , adoption would always be an option. So I’m my eyes, there is no excuse for child negligence whatsoever.
@@nikkiladouceur1910 same with me even though adoption is a shitty place but in some cases those people should never be allowed to have children and if they ever got to their senses I hope they wouldn't bring a child to life

@@TinaShay here’s a pro life tip. Instead of having so many children to the point you cannot physically or financially take care of them don’t have them. I agree that this shouldn't be treated lightly but at the end of the day using shame rarely if ever changes bad behavior. We need positive, sustainable solutions. Because sadly the alternative is foster care which has a severe shortage in available homes and where children likely face abuse and neglect there too.
My mom had 8 kids and took in her sister son. She did everything by herself she cooked, cleaned, worked and took care of all of us my mom always told me “ a mother’s job is never done”
I grew up poor as hell, but NEVER would my mom allow anything like this. She worked and went to school while rasing my brother and I on her own and our place was always spotless.
I did grow up in an environment like this. It took me well into my adulthood to realize that the best thing that ever happened to me was the state to take me away, and send me to an all boys agricultural school.
I had some what of the same childhood but my parents always did what they could. (my dad worked and my mom worked and went to school). I’m glad i grew up with a family that’s hard working because, although we may not have everything we want/need, we’re definitely in a better place. And i’m glad your mother was doing the best she could as well
I actually envy your innocence. Ive seen way worst. Like mothers pimping their 13yr old daughter for 20bucks worth of meth.. it really scars you when you deal with it personally.
My dog's my only family and as a result the only neglect he suffers is too much of my leftovers. If her kids are her only family, not only should they be extra important to her but she also doesn't have the distraction of drama coming from relatives. That means more time and energy for her kids, not less.
I feel like psychology and basic intelligent tests need to be mandatory for having a kid. Edit: After about 100+ replies I've learned that this can be referred to as Eugenics. Thanks for the lesson internet strangers.
It begs the question. Is it better to just get abortions in this case or do they deserve the right to life. This often one of the arguments for abortion is that you'd be "protecting" them from a life like this.
I'm also a single mom and never ever have my kids went without... heck my kids are spoiled fr fr..and sleep what is that I barely sleep cause my kids need a mother... stuff like this makes me sick!
I sure as hell am not defending the disgusting girl in the video but it actually cost around $3 to clean shit off the wall. $1 for cleaner, $1 for the rag, and $1 for the bleach. Gotta be sanitary. Just sayin. Everything costs something. I do agree she is definitely tryin to play the "Victim" though her kids are the real victims. So sad.
Agreed. I have a child, and those first screams, as they are walking up, are NOT happy screams/cries. And I don't think you even need the be a parent to hear the pain/emotion in those cries.
There's a deep part of my soul that shakes with absolute terror at the sound of children crying. No matter how often I've heard it in childhood, the sounds never leave my mind. I hate reality. I hate it so much. They are kids. Life is so cruel. Innocent kids suffer constantly. Why is life so cruel. I can't take it.
I was in this same situation until I was 8. My mom never made a meal. Never cleaned. I went to school with unclean and knotted hair. Even very young, you can feel the overwhelming sadness of the situation. I went to live with my aunt at 8 and she taught me how to take a bath for the first time. She changed my life. Alway grateful for her.

No it is called neglect. People really need to understand that kids are NOT burdens nor stupid. They scream because you FAIULED to fulfill their needs.
Can we all just show respect to the multiple neighbors who were cognitive enough to see something was wrong and take the correct action of reporting this.
@@tessabiggs2917honestly just be grateful they called at all. there are way more kids out there who go through the same if not worse but are not even helped at all. whether people dont care, assume its fine, or genuinely dont notice, its all too common for kids to grow up in these awful conditions unnoticed.
@@tessabiggs2917 they were probably calling consistently & the police FINALLY came to check after multiple reports. Typically how stuff like this goes down.
I would just like to say that noticing this would not take someone observant. Any rational person hearing the kids scream like that would know that’s not a play cry. I’m glad the neighbors called but I’m not glad it took a couple of incidents like this for the police to actually take the kids. It’s not necessarily their fault, they need a good amount evidence. And maybe they were trying to give her a chance like “wake up and fix this” and she didn’t.

I truly believe I saved my daughter's life. when i was a kids i had very strong lungs i could scream so loud and for long period of time. my parents would put me in time out for hitting them or my sibling and i would be put into my room until i calm down so i can listen and understand what i did wrong. as a kid i would scream very loud in time out so much so that the neghbours would call the cops because they throught my parents was neglecting me as i was yelling so loud for long period of time multiple times of the week. @@HaLfCrAzEdCaNuCk
That is why historical and lingual context is important.
He was like a compulsive gambler who bets away his home and life savings right out from under his family’s feet.“
As for the original verse, „thou shalt beat him with the rod, and thou shall save him from sheol.“ There are a few different explanations for this.
My jaw dropped as soon as she tried to downplay the kids' screams as "just playing."
Those poor babies are clearly screaming for HELP.

"they drank a lot of juice tonight that's why their diapers are sagging"

If you can’t handle being a parent don’t take it out on the children. This was actual justice being served all around. Great job officers.
