I remember when Buddy Mcgirt was praising Yarde after the Kovalev fight. So much untapped potential. Yarde could have easily sweeped the domestic scene already with a proper manager/trainer. Should have left Tunde years ago.
Tundes matchmaking is pathetic. Frank talked about the AY contract situation and how tunde wanted to wind down the contract with 2 more journeymen before the bustsi fight 😂. I have no idea why yarde has stuck with him, though at some point we have to blame yarde himself for not realising his situation...
Good points. Yarde was never brought along the right way and his lack of basic skills shows whenever he can't get them out of there early on. Azim won a pointless fight on Saturday - I even picked the round, for once - and has learned nothing from it. The issue for Azim might be that Boxxer don't do as many shows as Matchroom or Queensbury and so the opportunities to get out are fewer. No idea what direction they're taking him in but you feel a shock is waiting for him, somewhere down the line.
Yarde can’t box, it has been his supreme athleticism and considerable power that has propelled his career. Buatsi, a more rounded, fundamentally sound fighter, stops him, if they ever meet
Virtually every Boxing YT channel i watch has compiled various videos about Yardes fall out with Queensbury; the varying quality of his opponents; the prospective Buatsi fight and his latest labouring performance against Vilcans. That's not a criticism of you guys, or accusations of 'copying' by any means but rather an indication of how anyone with an interest/knowledge of boxing is unanimous in the view that Yardes career has been badly mismanaged.
Tunde always reminds me of the whitch doctors you would see in a 70's B movie. All smoke and mirrors and completely fake. Yarde's career seems to be based on what's the best for Tunde. And all his silly sound bites.
