I didn’t think the Bonnie could be more dreamy but it is with the new lights and can’t wait to see it chromed it in the front 🤩🤩 plus Cheesecake and T100 is perfection.
Yes yes yes it does look better. Modification is a big part of motorcycle ownership for some and the Bonnie does modify very easily. But for me there is a beauty in a standard Triumph Bonneville. Chrome on black is so timeless. 👌
Freddie that’s one more yes on the rear light unit - I know people always want to make their machines a bit personal to themselves with mods etc… but Triumph spent a few years designing and getting that bike right and an original bike / car / anything is always something to admire. Just look at the Renault 4 or whatever that was. Imagine looking at that with a set of Wolfrace wheels for example? Exactly
I like the lights with your set up. With the rear fender, passenger back rest and bags, they aren’t out of place at all. On my SE with fender eliminator and cafe seat, obviously they wouldn’t work. It’s all a matter of context. That’s also the beauty of the Bonnies. So easy to make it your own, and to change on a whim.
Hi, you two. Yes Freddie I like the lights. That cheesecake looks really nice too. I'm going to be in Tenerife end of April and going to hire a motorbike for a day and see some of the Island, thanks to your videos. Keep up the good work.
Hi, yes bring on the bling , I am rather old school . There was a chap who had 1962 Bonnie back in 66 who had a nickel plated frame and chrome carbs in baby blue and silver , looked De vine and that was his name . Great to see you both back in the hotter climes and a short stint in London gives us all a good feeling . Enjoy your next two months and we will all be watching , take care ride safe .
Hey, good move to put the original lights back on and changing the mirrors and front lights back to chrome is the best decision. Glad you got back to the Island OK, you must feel at home there now! I'm off skiing tomorrow but feel more excited for you guys eing back in the sun! Enjoy the next couple of months and I'll look forward to more videos from the two of you.
The standard rear light and indicators look far better that the aftermarket items you fitted before, as for Chrome , it suits the Bonneville and is in keeping with the classic retro looks of the bike.
The chrome lights looks brilliant on bonneville 😍. Only retro bike lovers will notice it, and that why I understand your feeling brother. And yes, do make the front indicators and mirrors chrome. It will develop the old world charm of bonneville
@Freddie Dobbs Great to see you back on the Island. Nothing can beat the look of chrome on anything, Car or Bike, though I don't know a lot about bikes. Realy looking forward to your trips around the Island and any other place you might visit. I was sure you were moved out there for more or less good.
Hi Freddie. The light looks awesome and look forward to seeing the Bonnie back to chrome. Thanks for the xlmoto tip just ordered the jacket and Jean combo and also got the backpack for a bargain price too. Stay safe and love the videos you and Monica provide us with to enjoy. Top bloke 👏
I bought a Royal Enfield meteor last July. On an owners group there’re many posts showing customisation. I’ve been riding bikes for 52 years (fuck me that makes me an old man, don’t feel it though) and I’ve never altered anything on any bike I’ve bought. Original is always the best. It’s the zeitgeist of the bike. I really enjoy the laid back style of your videos.
It reached 35 degrees in Chiang Rai this week. The hot season is coming. The bike looks better with the old rear end, but I wouldn't waste money changing the indicators and mirrors back. A friend of mine had a green Renault 4 in my long-lost youth. You must have quite a petrol bill. Everywhere you go you are using two vehicles. Good to see you back in Tenerife. When you have finished with the place, the perfect solution for islanditis is ... you know what I was about to say.
Hey Freddie and Monika, Great to see you back on the island - it gets under the skin doesn't it! Yep, every day's a school day in Adeje. I can recommend a day out exploring the coast from Las Maretas to La Jaca, it's very old school canarian. Take the turnoff after shark fin bridge on the TF1. The TF 632/631 is an interesting ride. Love to you both
Totally agree mate. A bonnie is one of those bikes that actually looks best wearing the clothes it came in! I love building and customising and have been doing so for years but I don't think i would do much at all to your bike(once the chrome is back on).......except clean it more often!!
Much prefer the original version lights! It’s always worth remembering someone has designed that bike and had a vision of how it should look. Having said that i love the bench seat you sometimes use.
Freddie, the new original taillight looks waaay better than the old one. Congrats! Just had a puncture on my bike's rear tire so I'm feeling bummed but this vid helped to cheer me up, thanks. 😁
I have a 2018 T120 Bonneville that the former owner modified, I’m now putting the bike back to stock. I love the original chrome, it’s what drew me to the bonneville in the first place. It’s a “classic” for a reason. Safe travels!
Looks better with the standard rear light..........Would look even better with a nice new number plate as well....Excellent channel, Keep the video's coming.
Me and my partner Owen have been really enjoying your videos for the last 2 months. They helped us decide to visit Tenerife. We also really enjoyed your trip to Cult bar in Ipswich. I work at Ipswich hospital so it was very amusing to see you there. We are currently in Santa Cruz and recommend you visit Contigo pizzeria. Delicious freshly made pizza. We had the vegan and the veggie pizzas on a gluten free base. Lovely waiting staff also. We really think we will see you on Top Gear at some point in the future. Keep up the good work on your channel Freddie and Monika x
Every time I'd hop on my Bonnie for some reason I'd always flex the indicators! Some kind of weird habit. I agree with Monica, it just looks right. Pretty music.
I go through phases but left my original rear light on for now. Replaced my mirrors though, with bar end ones, brushed aluminium finish, they look much better
Hey Freddie... the lights look great. I always go original... I try and keep my machines looking as close to factory as I can. It’s how it should be! Chris
if you are moving from Tenerife...I suggest Mallorca. I lived for two years in Puerto then moved here and have been here for twelve years. This is motorcycling paradise. I have done over 60k here and am still finding new roads, many of which have very little traffic. There are plains, coast roads and stunning mountains that are the equal of anywhere in the world.
Hi Freddie and Monica i have a black speedmaster 2012 i have clear glas instead of the yellow and red i think it looks more modern with the clear glas. Nice to see you are enyoing life when there is so much negativity in the world.
Glad you're back there safe. Hope the next 2 months go slowly for you. Love your confidence in your work, putting it all back together before testing your lights, which I do prefer, I kept my originals on my Triumph America 👍😁
Hi Freddie and Monika. I think the chrome lights look great and give the bonnie added class. Love the channel and look forward to the next video. Stay safe.
Hello you 2, Definitely chrome absolutely love it, bring it on. The Renault 4, I had a van version and trust me it will go anywhere you want even in the snow cracking vehicle with a very strange gear stick that comes out of the dashboard. I must admit you looked settled back in Tenerife no more glamming it up in the big city and bike launches. Loved the coffee shop and the cheese cake looked very tempting. Take care
I can imagine exactly this; cars built to go everywhere for a price the masses can afford- I love this!💪🏼💪🏼 It does feel absolutely fantastic to be back!🙂
Sometimes you just need to change things on the bike. Whether going to aftermarket or back to original. Two different looks both good just different and tinkering and changing is just part of the motorcycle affliction
Chrome is nice but I would put led bulbs in them. Also I would put an led headlight on. They use less power but are much more visible especially as your headlight looks very yellowish instead of bright white
Your lights look good Freddie. And going back to chrome parts will make your bike pop. But I hope you learned a very valuable lesson, don’t ever throw any parts away! Ever. Don’t throw that STOP brake light away , you could always trade it to Harley guy building a hard tail . Parts are like money. Everybody needs some .
Anything that empower the Retro look, is a BIG YES, so yeah the lights are looking nice and works well with the retro look of your motorcycle 👍🏼 Ride safe ✌🏼
Love the Chrome rear lights! I also think it’s a Great Idea outing back all the Chrome pieces which would also include the exhaust pipes. I think the exhaust one per side looks Fantastic! Don’t know if the Speedmaster pipes would fit but I think they woul look and sound Great! Cheers from Salem, Ohio US!
Yeah I did the same to my Bonny. Put a tail tidy on the rear and smaller indicators etc. But, and this is a crucial difference, I didn't throw out the original bits as I figured if I sold it the new owner may want to put all the bits back. To be fair, the original equipment did look better and the only mod that I thought improved the look of the bike were fork gaiters. Actually, and my Arrow exhaust...
I like your bike and you use it. So many people have nice bikes and use them only a handful if times a year. I use my bike all year and yes it shows but its there to be ridden and make memories. Awesome vids as always and the original back light looks good 👍
The views from up on the Calle Baleares and Avenida Francia are awesome. I used to live just below where you shot the video (Calle Noruega) and still miss those views
Freddie your light's looked great. The only thing is they looked a little cocked. I don't know if that was because of the way you were holding the camera, but from my view that's what I seen. Those Triumph's sure are an eye catcher. I still think you should do a video on that new Motto Guzzi Mandello. Anyway it was nice to see you & Monica back in Tenerife. Thanks much for the video! Cherrio & have a beautiful day!!! Illinois, USA
I love the light! Actually, in the portion of the video right after you installed the light and were riding, I thought to myself, ‘now, if he would just change those black mirrors to chrome, that would look sweet!’ :-) Then you mentioned at the end how you want to get chrome mirrors and front indicators. Cheers!
Yes great decision to replace the rear lights back to original. Now you have classic looks on a classic bike, and you can’t go wrong with originality. I also get that people change things here and there to make something unique to them, but that’s the beauty of customisation.
Rear lights looks much better triumph new what they where doing and yes change the mirrors and the front indicators to finish the look.don’t change the seat looks very comfortable
Back in 2012 i bought exact same model as yours....and ive just checked ebay and the average price for 2010.2012 is £4500 to £5995.. my bike in 2012 was £5950 .....amazing ....as james may would say STANDARD!!!!!👍👍
That is so interesting- they really are rock solid investments! Very unusual for me because I usually buy vehicles that lose half their value the second I buy them!😆
Hello Monika and Freddie, The new lights look very nice. I like them, better to be seen on a Motorcycle than not. Love the Channel.
Great to see your Tenerife video…..and the lights.❤️
Glad to see you back … absence does make the heart grow fonder with this place for sure .& Looking forward to more entertaining vids 👍🏻👍🏻
Awesome video and awesome content can’t wait for the next video Thank’s Freddie and Monika
Absolutely love your videos, such enthusiasm for life 😎😎😎
Delighted you enjoy them, Antony!
Yeah, the retro style is (today again) much better! you´re doing it right!
Beautiful and simple retro lights. Like the chrome . Excellent background song 👍
'It looks like a new bike'
Classic Freddie.
Always love your optimism and enthusiasm.
Freddie your back, its just nice to see you in the sun and no rain, keep going with your videos 😊 great fun
It's your bike, you do what you want with it, your taste, plus, all black is so last decade!!!
I didn’t think the Bonnie could be more dreamy but it is with the new lights and can’t wait to see it chromed it in the front 🤩🤩 plus Cheesecake and T100 is perfection.
Updated lights… it’s how a bike should look - well done!👌
Yes yes yes it does look better. Modification is a big part of motorcycle ownership for some and the Bonnie does modify very easily. But for me there is a beauty in a standard Triumph Bonneville. Chrome on black is so timeless. 👌
I do completely agree🙂👌🏻
Freddie that’s one more yes on the rear light unit - I know people always want to make their machines a bit personal to themselves with mods etc… but Triumph spent a few years designing and getting that bike right and an original bike / car / anything is always something to admire. Just look at the Renault 4 or whatever that was. Imagine looking at that with a set of Wolfrace wheels for example?
Exactly
Freddy the chrome lights and indicators look great, Monica has good taste, she knows what she is talking about.
Like the lights Freddie and your enthusiasm as always 👍
There was a chap who had 1962 Bonnie back in 66 who had a nickel plated frame and chrome carbs in baby blue and silver , looked De vine and that was his name . welcome back guys!! I do love the light!!! Enjoy every second of the time you have left!
I have a bike with a lot of chrome and also a bike that's pretty much all black. You can love both styles for what it is.
For me Chrome detailing always looks infinitely better in my humble opinion
The lid definately looks better with the peak on. I agree it has to be chrome lights & mirrors for the ultra cool look
Yes, looks much better
Addicted ,thanks for showing us around
How can anyone not like the chrome, when Freddie is SO Excited about it. Giggle off camera.
The standard rear light and indicators look far better that the aftermarket items you fitted before, as for Chrome , it suits the Bonneville and is in keeping with the classic retro looks of the bike.
Haaaah...that release when you get something right on the bike, I think its tons better, well played!!!!
I love how much enthusiasm you have for motorcycles. Really shows through when you talk about them.
The chrome lights looks brilliant on bonneville 😍. Only retro bike lovers will notice it, and that why I understand your feeling brother. And yes, do make the front indicators and mirrors chrome. It will develop the old world charm of bonneville
@Freddie Dobbs

Chrome and black always looks good
Great to see you back in tenerife Freddie, agree that the chrome looks better, that island looks more apealing with every vlog
Your videos are so relaxing to watch with a cup of coffee. Cheers and keep up the good work. 👍
The lights look just right for the bike. Nothing at all wrong with the stock look.
Looks great Freddie! God bless you guys!

Original equipment is almost always the way to go!
Fabulous look Freddie!!! Trust Monica's opinion lights are Fabulous
Enjoy your time in Tenerife, From Dawn in not so sunny 'Norfolk' UK.
Totally agree mate. A bonnie is one of those bikes that actually looks best wearing the clothes it came in! I love building and customising and have been doing so for years but I don't think i would do much at all to your bike(once the chrome is back on).......except clean it more often!!

Definitely the chrome look for me!
Hi Freddie , Chrome is the only way to go , Also Tenerife ,you cannot beat. Peter
Freddie, the new original taillight looks waaay better than the old one. Congrats! Just had a puncture on my bike's rear tire so I'm feeling bummed but this vid helped to cheer me up, thanks. 😁

I just love watching the riding and lifestyle in Tenerife, perhaps it is time to emigrate!!! Lol
Hey Freddie... the lights look great. I always go original... I try and keep my machines looking as close to factory as I can. It’s how it should be! Chris
Yeah, in a week we are back on Tenerife too. Maybe we see us on the road.🏍

You beat me to the punch Freddie about the front lights and wing mirrors get them fitted. Great video as always guys
The bike looks much better with the original lights I kinda like the tail light you replaced it with but without that stop written on it
Hi Freddie and Monica i have a black speedmaster 2012 i have clear glas instead of the yellow and red i think it looks more modern with the clear glas. Nice to see you are enyoing life when there is so much negativity in the world.
Welcome to Tenerife. The new tail, i' like it.
Loving it for you Freddie & Monika and we're only just 4 minutes into the video 🌴☀️🌊🏍️👌👍♥️
Glad you're back there safe. Hope the next 2 months go slowly for you. Love your confidence in your work, putting it all back together before testing your lights, which I do prefer, I kept my originals on my Triumph America 👍😁
I was thinking exactly that when I went to test the lights; always test before putting back together!
Glad you're back here, I'll watch out for future tips! 😆
Hi Freddie and Monika. I think the chrome lights look great and give the bonnie added class. Love the channel and look forward to the next video. Stay safe.
Love the original chromed rear light unit!! I'm currently after an old Speed Triple and it has to be the chromed headlamps one for me...
Good one Freddy, but I say lose the mirrors, de chrome the whole bike, fit a flatter seat with ridged stitching. Make it moody😉
Hello you 2,
Definitely chrome absolutely love it, bring it on. It does feel absolutely fantastic to be back!🙂
Definitely better than hanging around with the rich crowd for me. by the time you get back here, the weather should be much improved.
Hi freddie, enjoyed ur blog
Never been a fan of chrome but in that style of motorcycle just looks great ! And that is a beatiful island!!!. Greetings from Paraguay !!
"It's good to have the both of you back", sang John Lennon. Nice chrome stuff, by the way :)
Cheers from Algiers!
Glad your back,I fly out next week and can't wait

Monika “sorts everything out” is that not always the way! I say the same about my lovely wife.
Cheers for the Course jacket and trousers link. Just ordered a bundle. Keep up the top videos..
I like the chrome, I've kept it on mine complete with the chrome mirrors too.
Original all day every day!
Anything that empower the Retro look, is a BIG YES, so yeah the lights are looking nice and works well with the retro look of your motorcycle 👍🏼 Ride safe ✌🏼

The bike looks better with the original light unit Freddie 👍 looking forward to the warm weather tomorrow 🏖☀️ and the coffee ☕️ 🤣
Thanks Nick, I’m very happy with it! I’ll ping you over an email this eve and gave a good flight!🙂. The weather is glorious!!
The lights do look better. Get the front ones on and please fit some new bar ends and it’ll look like a different bike. 👍🏻
hello Freddie, remember that you will miss Teide, and the blue sky, pure blue, not a mixture of blue and grey, enjoy
I like your bike and you use it. So many people have nice bikes and use them only a handful if times a year. I use my bike all year and yes it shows but its there to be ridden and make memories. Awesome vids as always and the original back light looks good 👍

Triumph looks good Freddie
I’ll be in Tenerife next month for three months can’t wait ✌️
Yes, original is always best. Clean, shiny chrome (emphasis on “clean”) looks great. Black and chrome screams British bike.
That looks better Freddie
I love the light! Actually, in the portion of the video right after you installed the light and were riding, I thought to myself, ‘now, if he would just change those black mirrors to chrome, that would look sweet!’ :-) Then you mentioned at the end how you want to get chrome mirrors and front indicators.
