I saw a clip of his story on instagram!!! He said “you don’t have to come clean to God he’ll clean you up” or something along those lines !!!! But wow I was just crying to our Heavenly Father thinking I wasn’t worthy enough for him strong enough to go back on his path but listening to that, I will seek him and get his peace again!!! Thank y’all he truly does save people, I had been feeling nervous and ashamed to seek God again but now I feel my heart on fire for him , I will pray for strength. God bless you guys 🩵
He’s a man who was taught by the spirit but like a man other churches had to venture off. He had set free soldiers cause problems and ended up getting stabbed
I have so much to say that just cannot be put in words. I grew up at set free as a young kid. I don't agree with everything he said but I can attest that we had all types of different people at that church. It was not just gangsters or bikers, it was seriously every type of person. I lived in the homes and our few house were unfortunately horrible. They we supposed to be condemned, held up by bricks. But every house had a task to serve the body of Christ. I remember evangelizing as an elementary kid in south central, in the projects. We served often the poor around us. We made burritos weekly, handed them out and prayed over people. I was at Phil's house often. And although so much bad was going down behind the scenes and his pride was bigger than his head like he mentioned. God was and is bigger and he has this charisma that people are attracted too. They new they were messed up but they see this guy say Jesus will forgive and he does. Thousands of people have been saved through Jesus Christ by using Phil as a vessel. We served at TBN often answering phones and praying for people. (I was a kid. But my mom did. And everywhere she went we went) We outreached all the time. He is definitely an evangelist. I'm so happy he has been open and honest and humbled himself so clear things up. It's a blessing to see and hear. That place was special to me. It is where I really blossomed in evangelism. It helped set a foundation of if you train them up them will not depart. I fell away from church after we left. For many young immature reasons but God called me back over 12 years ago and serving wholeheartedly. That place and foundation has never been far from my heart. I met people there as a young kid whom are still in my life. Just remember. Don't follow man. Follow God. Man fails. Keep your eyes on Jesus. He never fails. Phil is human and although he can be a great example of redemption if we look to man and he messes up that shouldn't jade us for Jesus. That should put us closer to Jesus. Keep the family in prayer. When someone like him is trying to win souls the enemy tries harder to tear him down. That's why he still struggles. The enemy isn't gonna make it easy because he is doing to much. He needs prayer often and whenever you think of his ministries or him pray for protection and fruits of the spirit, and holy spirit to fill him. Phil if you see this. My mom Lucy use to braid the boys hair on the Blvd. I'm sure you'd remember her. I love you and your family and grateful for the people who were in our lives at that age.
It's heartwarming to see how God worked in your life despite the imperfections of the people and the place, and your reminder to keep our eyes on Jesus, not man, definitely sticks. I'll be keeping Phil and his ministry in prayer. Thank you for sharing such a meaningful journey!
This guy is a prime example of you can screw thing up over and over again, and there is a way out. JESUS is the way the truth and the light.
Amen! Shows how unmatched God's grace is.
