I enjoy how reactive Nene is during gameplay, like how she raises her knife in preparation to attack when the player is at low HP and lowers it once again when HP is back in a safe zone, laughs when messing up a note streak, then does a cat face at 50+ combo. They didn't need to add that much detail, but it just puts that much more personality into the game.
I love how Pico's vocals stray from the opponent's vocals. Instead of copying what they're singing, he's doing a completely different flow. Simply, it sounds like he's rapping when the opponent is singing
Except against another Pico apparently, he genuinely enjoys his songs so doesn't even dare to cut himself off, thats just wrong in every way. He even enhances the song
I find it kind of funny how Tankman was disgusted by Boyfriend because of his relationship with Girlfriend, either because he is lovey-dovey or because he is protecting her from the Tankmen. In Pico’s case, I guess his angst, provocative and nasty behavior is what specifically disgusts Tankman. Pico actually gets a hold of this and does more disgusting things to annoy him(e.g. Spitting, Snorting, Burping, etc.).
They both are top Newgrounds characters and are iconic to the site. Obviously each one will try and one-up each other to keep the throne, fits their character as well.
Hilariously there's a small chance of them missing their shot (if the player pico gets shot automatic result screen with 0 results if the other pico gets shot instead the game will continue but the other pico will miss all of their notes because well they're uhhh not feeling well on the ground)
This is really shaping out to be a project with so much style. It is incredible how they were able to transform so many songs to fit Pico so well. It almost feels like he is completely stealing the show with his style, I cannot wait to see what they do with the other characters because this is already so much attention to detail. And not to mention just how good these new mixes are. I can feel the excitement I felt when FNF was first starting.

Actually something you didn't show is that the opponent pico has 8% chance to get killed as well, which results in the track continuing with half the vocals missing

When week 7 just came out I remember being so excited by how lively Tankman seem compared with the other characters in other weeks.His animations making him look like he's almost talking, the whole situation in the last song. It made everyone felt like they had strong personalities that afect how they sang and interact with each other, and that, in a game with almost no dialogue nor cutscenes or moments outside the songs felt amazing. I thought I was a bit crazy for finding so many details in a fucking rythm game, but this update proves that I was right. Is not just random noises like everyone wants to put it, it has a structure, a reason and details put in with a lot of love and effort.
I feel like the variety these last few updates have introduced has really made me appreciate just what every character brings to a song, especially through having such a clear distinction between Boyfriend's style and Pico's, it's crazy just how much more special the addition of a second playable character has made this game feel

Given that the full, final game's Story Mode is predicted have at least 52 wWeks (probably including the Weekends), each one containing 3 songs on average, and each of those songs may get Erect mode remixes, along with these other remixes for the other characters, of which there are 9 total characters so far on the character select screen (including BF and Pico), then that's an estimated total of 1,716 remixes, presumably 10 for each song. TLDR; the Funkin' Crew is gonna be cooking for a long time.
