Money is a topic I don’t often talk about (I think it’s the Englishness in me!), but it’s something all of us need to generate as we build our businesses and make them successful.
However, so many of us entrepreneurs have money issues and as a result aren’t where we want to be financially…
I’ve been there myself and that’s what I want to open up and talk about today.
There have been two times in my life where I was in a financial rut! I felt like things were so hopeless and I started to lose faith and wonder if I would ever be able to change my situation and get to where I wanted to be financially. It felt like there was a huge mountain to climb and on top of that I felt like I had a ball and chain around my ankle holding me back, because of what was going on in my head.
I eventually realised how out of alignment I was with allowing myself to receive and once I began to correct that, the ball and chain were gone and I was able to fly up that mountain (well maybe not fly, but I got up it!).
The tips:
04:35 - Get clear on what your money blocks actually are

09:38 - Take the right action. Be open to opportunities and act on them

Hi Carrie, I just recently became a member of FEA and I'm so grateful for finding you!! This video is coming at the perfect time.
I recently figured out some of my money blocks. One of them was when I was a kid, I had a paper route and I worked 5 days a week delivering papers. At the end of the month, there wouldn't be any money leftover ( I later found out that my brother had been stealing the money from our shared paper route). This left me with the belief that "no matter how hard I work I end up with nothing".

Oh My Gosh! Wow! I type this with tears in my eyes... Carrie, thank you so much for sharing your message. I hate you went through financial hardships but at the same time, it's nice to know that others have gone through what I'm going through and I too can get out of it... I've felt like I'm in the way of my own success right now and have a "money block". That little voice saying I can't and whom I call Bertha Lynn needs to shush her mouth. Randomly today, I clicked on your email. Oddly, I even took notes. Thank you... I'm going to have to watch this video again so that Bad Berta's voice will be replaced by your voice saying "You can". I think this was just for me. I looked it up to share with my niece, because she has extreme money blocks, but you just outlined my current situation. Thank you! I'm in the middle of this video in my journey right now! I even had Lewis just reply to one of my TH-cam comments yesterday. Cue Twilight zone music. I have been on a roller coaster with this for three years now.
