Masters newbie here. This is throwing technique/philosophy of 35+ yr ago. Curious: are these same techniques being taught today or have they evolved or been modified? And if they've changed, how much 50%? More? Less?
I had four large plastic bins of videos that I have gathered over 40 years of coaching and decided to convert them to digital so they could be shared and used by others. This is just one of many gems I found and hadn't looked at for many years.

This got Lance Deal to throw 82.52m and 84' 10" in the weight throw. Ues this and you what got from wrong.
The world record is 35+ years old too.
It's every bit as valid today as it was in 1986.
Stewart brought the US out of the Dark Ages of hammer throwing. Stay in the middle.
Where did you find this? Gassner and I used to train together ever summer. He just moved to Central America to teach English.
