@@kendraadman7229 NO, he’s not lip syncing. I saw him in Kansas City a few months ago, his micro slipped from his hand a bit, causing him to be slightly disrupted. He also said something at that point then went back to singing again. No way he was lip syncing. I was 3 row, center. CLOSE ENOUGH TO SEE HIS SWEAT.

@@MaryDavidson911 I have a soft spot for Frankie; however, it's not fair to probably half his fans that he can no longer hit those notes that made him famous. I’m sure the other half are probably quite happy just to see him in person, so it's a tough call on how acceptable his lip synching is. But it does not matter to me. I continue to go to his shows. At 89 I’m surprised he is still able to stand for an entire performance.

Such an honor to sit near the front and watch my friend Basil (guitar second row, far right) and Frankie in concert before the great epidemic of 2020 . It was even better to sing Happy Birthday with Frankie and his crew backstage as they celebrated a crew members birthday. What an extremely special night that was! Thanks for the memories Basil!

Incredible how his voice still sounds the same all through these years
Forget how amazing he still sounds live. Forget the fact he's past 80 in this clip. Go back and watch his facial expressions, shoulders and arm movements. Think about how many 1000s of time he has sang this and his other hits, night after night, year after year, for over 50 years. He STILL shows major expressions to go with each part of the song. 99.999% of performers just get up there and sing and you wonder if they are just doing it to get a paycheck. Frankie actually puts on a show and gives the audience what they want even though that man has GOT to be tired of all this sometimes. That's the mark of a TRUE entertainer from the old school.
About 30 years ago I drove nearly 600 miles (Redding, Ca.) to Las Vegas to see Frankie and the Four Seasons, only to find out the last ticket was sold about a half hour before I got there. Still on my bucket list...
Frankie and the Four Seasons rocked the radio in the 60s and still rocking it today. Sing it again Frankie.

@@alphaboy1872 Why would anyone autotune a lip sync? He is obviously autotuned. A lip sync would be an older studio recording that likely would not need the heavy autotuning that is seen here. It is more likely that his vocals are stacked with a heavy autotune.

Only if you like the Frankie Valli falsetto.... otherwise no. Honestly, Brian Wilson harmonized better with the Beach boys than Valli did but then again it may have been the singers around him.

Both are the best ever , both have lost their falsetto's , and both have fantastic voices such that they can continue without falsetto , super love Brian , but Frankie is the best ever .

This song was often sung by all the football (soccer) fans at Wigan Athletic FC. I was lucky enough to see Frankie at Manchester Arena seven years ago. Great show and still a top voice and performance.

My favorite Four Seasons song from the FABULOUS year of 1965..........The great song reminds me of my first love...the best music, best cars, best fashion, the Beatles!........greatest groups ever. Exciting times. Frankie was such a part of the whole package. My true love broke up with me and this song mirrored the agony I felt...but he returned and I married the guy!

I'm completely shattered, I got tickets for me and my eighty year old dad for the last tour, he was here in Florida, a few weeks before the show, my dad had the first of two back to back strokes, I gave the tickets to a friend, a few months later,he was diagnosed with stage four cancer, small cell which spreads fast, that was before Thanksgiving of this year twenty twenty two, today is Xmas. He died Three am the day before Christmas Eve. Merry Christmas??

In concert his mic has a thumb switch so that he can switch it on for the spoken parts in between lines.

@@johnpierce2095 He's been lip synching and using auto tune for about the past 15 years. Still out there charging crazy ticket prices to watch an old man lip synch.
@@johnpierce2095 True. 👍There are YT videos where multiple concerts from different years have been overlayed and the vocals match exactly for tempo, intonation, phrasing - impossible unless it's a digital recording each time.
He's an old ham who needs the applause so is happy to lip sync to keep the adulation and money coming in.

A lip sync would be a pre recorded studio album that would either not have the heavy autotune that you hear here or either have the autotune smoothed out more than you hear here. It is more likely that he is heavily autotuned with vocal stacks. Most performers do this anyway.
I had the absolute pleasure of seeing FV live in London a few years ago. He was absolutely incredible. It’s the only concert I’ve ever been to that literally brought tears to my eyes..... it was that good. A living legend. Signed a 50 something year old heavy metal fan!

@@the4seasons4ever Robbie Robinson has been around and has been in charge of the band since the late 70's. They had turnover in the 60's, too. The partnership is Bob Gaudio and Frankie Valli. Everyone else is an employee. Let's just be glad that Frankie is still out there doing it.

I saw the SEASONS in concert 3 times 60' , 70's. Great shows.

Frankie Valli is an "icon" in the music industry. What a unique presentation being hooked up with all of the members of todays Four Seasons band, and presenting this fabulous song from the original group. The original group and Joe Long were tops, but the present group is fantastic as well. To think Frankie can still give incredible performances is amazing! Keep on Rockin!
