@@ZoneXoneMoan i think i depends on what you want out of pacific rim. Id say that if you prioritize the plot over action then this is the way to go but if you prefer action over plot then the first film is the way to go. At least imo.

Pacific Rim: Uprising is the equivalent to Legend of Zorro. Both were so bad that they kinda killed their franchises. In the words of a character from another disappointing sequel (Wonder Woman '84), "It was good...but it could've been better."

This would look great in classic 2D anime style.
It would look great but the jaegers would have zero weight in 2d as opposed to them having weight in 3d

Using 2D wouldn't look as great because 2D animation in anime is often limited as "limited animation", therefore you would be seeing alot of freeze frames with screen-shakes to emulate movements when it's actually non-existent. More the fact that 2D animation requires more labour and doesn't have the freedom of 3D animation in many conceivable ways, like angle shots and characters expressions.

How slow is that warhead that Acidquill can slap it backward and Vertigo can catch it?
They were close range and the warhead has a delay between deployment and the firing of its engines. Likely simply didn’t pick up speed because of the lack of distance.
When it was knocked back it was spinning in all directions, and so just followed a fairly conventional trajectory.

Bruh have you not seen mega kaiju or slattern?. The acidquills don't come close to being cat 5 worthy. They are good enough as cat 3 kaiju. Difficult to handle but somewhat easy to kill at the same time.
