Praying for your husband’s recovery. I try everyday to look at your video everyday. 😊. I’ve learned so much about you, your family, and your culture. Keep up the great work! You are a treat to watch and inspire me . ❤
I hope your husband gets better. You must be under a lot of pressure. I hope you will look after yourself too. Yummy dishes. Yes, we have those small bowls as well. We have a Chinese round table that turns. As you know, it's easier to get to all the small bowls. Great video.😀
Love your Chinese cooking, please do more. I watch many C dramas on Netflix and am fascinated by the food that they prepare .You deserve many more subscribers and I see that the numbers are going up. Keep strong for your family. Wishing you every good luck!.
Hello Ms. Gabby Lisa , very nice meal you have prepared for your husband and for yourself. My chinese girlfriend also cooks very nice chinese food that i love very much. I discover many new asian meals with her every days and she also loves my cooking.😊
Your cooking looks very delicious, and healthy too. It is very nice to have a freshly cooked meal, especially when someone special cooks for you. I hope everyone in your family are all feeling good soon! Good Luck Lisa!
6:51 we buy that tofu as well, good texture. I pick up ideas and tips from your cooking videos, thank you for sharing. You provide a unique perspective on culture and life that I think is currently missing from a lot of discourse.
You have great knife skills!! That pork dish looks really good...I might try it... I cook pan fried pork belly in butter with black 0epper and chinese 5 spice!!😊😊😊😊
Another great meal. I love watching you cook. I'm actually thinking about buying a small wok for myself. Take care of your husband and yourself. Trips to the hospital are stressful.
Avoid non-stick. Chinese food needs high heat which destroys non-stick coatings, and ends up polluting your food. Either use plain steel or cast iron, which is more healthy and does not stick. There are plenty of choices on eBay.
Hi Lisa, I wish everyone in hospital could eat such lovingly prepared food, they would get better quicker, can you show me and anybody else who might be interested how to use chopsticks please.
I'm watching this and thinking I have a fresh pack of bacon in the fridge + can I eat an entire pack... The meals look really nice. I hope your husband and dad are well and comfortable.
That pork dish looks great! You make food that your husband likes and you like,...wow, where does someone find a wife like you? My brother's wife never cooks and when my brother is picking up dinner for them after he gets off work, it always has to be what his wife likes to eat. I think its very sweet that you make food for your father-in-law, my brother's wife hates my parents.
Good cooking video Ms. Gabby Lisa. Not only do you prepare your husband's food, but you are the "official taste tester too." But I have a question for you: does your husband like any Chinese food you prepare even with his medical situation? And do you like any Western food that you can prepare?
Thank you. My husband loves all my food. What Western food are you talking about?Pasta?Pizza ?Steak? I used to make pasta ,pizza and bread in China. I learned it myself because my husband likes it . But when we back the UK. He used to buy it for eat . some foods I think are unhealthy and my husband stopped eating them. Now if I cook pasta, etc.I also use my own way .
@@GobbyLisa99 Does your husband like Chicken Marsala? British pot roast? Chicken Loreine? Bangers and Mash? Fish and chips? I live in Texas, USA, and we have chicken and dumplings, cassaroles of various types. But we tend to put a lot of sugar in these foods, including bread and pasta. So I tend to stay away from store bought things and try to make them myself through a crockpot or the oven.
I love tofu. I'm so happy that we can now find tofu in all the UK supermarkets except maybe Aldi and Lidl. I get it from Waitrose. So healthy. Hope your husband gets better soon.
@@egris00 Tesco, Morrisons and Sainsbury's all have Tofu in the UK. The Naked brand that Gobby Lisa used is good. Naked also have a very tasty smoked variety.
That food looks lovely. Find me a Chinese wife please. You also use Rice Bran Oil to fry, me too as higher smoking point but it is so damned expensive in UK. You mentioned you are from south of China, which city?
Hopefully Gobby Lisa's husband will soon be up to 87 kg after eating such good food every day. Some star anise cooked with the pork works well in this dish. We use brown Basmati rice.
Best wishes to your husband, I hope he recovers fully very soon. You are wonderful to take such good care of him.
Thank you.
Hello Lisa. You are my daily watch now. Keep feeding that great man of yours. It looks delicious😊

Thank you. Chinese usually don’t use butter. Because it has the taste of milk which will change the taste of the dish.
@@GobbyLisa99 so Chinese are not into dairy that much???
@@jamesbeeching6138 We like dairy . But no one uses butter to cooking in China. And butter is too greasy for Chinese .
