Keep in mind, Naomi's first encounter with Light was overheating that he was the Deputy Director's soon who had helped in a prior case. The idea that Kira was likely a student wasn't public knowledge at that point, so Light probably wasn't likely to be suspicious *in that way* to her.
That doesn't change the fact that a 18 year old annoying kid following her is fucking suspicious and creepy. Whoever wrote this story is definitely male because they didn't realize how fucking weird Light was acting.

The writers clearly wanted to demonstrate how manipulative and smart Light is. At this point, all that any of the characters in the show know light as is the deputies son who is top of uis class, smart, and handsome. There was no reason for her to suspect him. As they walked they were talking for most of the time and when they werent, light was walking behind her waiting for his dad to call him back so she could speak to him.

What Light says at the beginning of the show about people thinking that way but being shy about saying so in polite company is absolutely true. People are sick of the liberalization of the justice system and how governments treat crime. In my country, pedophiles often get sentences as light as a mere few years ( if you privately polled people, majority would be fine with execution for such unspeakable acts). This same justice system will force a father to pay for his 8 year old sons “transition” into a girl at his ex wife’s behest with the threat of prison. There is no justice in our Social Democracies anymore. Strict rule under a morally consistent dictator becomes preferable to the people.
I think a good chunk of L's suspicion is intuition; he has already said he sees himself in Kira. So far it seems like is quite literally L just thinking of what he might do if he was Kira.

I think the best way to understand Kira killing the FBI agents is to understand that his law is absolute and for Justice. If someone like the police are going to step him and prevent him from saving people or punishing criminals they aren't innocent. It would be the same understanding that if someone was being raped but another person was preventing you from saving them. They're no longer innocent in the crime even if it's their job. They're complicit. And regards to Naomi Misora she just happened to run into one of the most intelligent people in the world with A class manipulation skills. Not to mention she wasn't exactly on her A game either, being that she wasn't in the right state of mind. She was distressed about her partner dying. It's hard to focus on the small details when you're in mourning. No matter how good you are. I'd highly recommend reading The Los Angeles BB Murder Cases if you loved her though.

She was not so suspicious of Light because from the beginning of her talk, Light told her that her father was the leader of the case, and that he could help her communicate, since she could not easily communicate with the people in the KIRA case. And the girl, after I followed him a lot, told him that he could go to the station alone, but light began to have conversations and then said that he was in the group.
If Naomi Misora was suspicious of why he was following her and stuff like that, it could have been that her mind was working like, Oh, Light’s part of the task force and was debating whether or not to invite me and that’s why he was following me, to make sure I’m trustworthy.

However bare in mind that Raye and Naomi's deaths effectively narrowed down the list of suspects only to Light .Also up until now throughout the investigation L has observed that Kira has very much reacted to cover his ass whenever the investigation team tended to get close. Being "too innocent" to L raises his suspicion. Also when L gave Light's father the percentage on how likely Light is Kira it was complete BS. To L 10%-20% are basically like 90% .
I don't think it was possible to notice that Light was in panic, I belive that his reactions shown were just to us understand how he was feeling but wasn't tranparent to the others around him.

If Light really wanted to fool people with those magazines, he should have acted more normal about it. People don't stare disinterestedly at that kind of magazine unless you know they're asexual. Which granted, Light seems to be on that spectrum. But any "normal" teenage boy would have broke out the tissue box at some point. When Covid is all gone and we can go back to normal there is still so many things I hope we still have active. Like the distancing, people being aware of their surrounding.
