Guyana already has a vast amount of their citizens who are desperately in need and must come first. These people are not vetted. Some of these Venezuelan’s are Guyanese who either left at an early age or were born in Venezuela 🇻🇪. The current Guyana Government must accept and help these people integrate into Guyanese society. At this time there’s a shortage of labour in Guyana. These Venezuelan’s wants to work and can fill Guyana’s labour shortages.

Of course I acted as a humanitarian first… Before the police took them away, I told Reshma I’ll buy the ingredients to make a big pot of food for them. But then, I left some money with her to cook and take the food to the station. She told me she gave the money to some of them for travelling instead because the police apparently gave them food. I tried and wished I could have done more….

Terribly sad. Just the other day I was at Charity market and saw a Venezuelan mother and four kids all bare feet. They were walking very fast so I couldn’t catch up to them. I wanted to buy them each a pair of shoes. These people didn’t want to leave but because of no food or work they have no choice but to leave.

Guyana has been growing so rapidly in the past few years. I heard what Omar Shaw said "when Venezuela accepted Guyanese may years ago". People did whatever possible to leave Guyana. Now that Guyana is making world news, those same people who fled are now running back. My opinion is, those people who were left behind in Guyana to battle the war they faced, those people should be rewarded FIRST. Guyana is encouraging the former residents to return to their country and giving them incentives for returning. Again, where are the rewards for the CURRENT residents? My opinion is MY opinion. I am from a small caribbean island called Grenada and always had a soft heart for Venezuelans. Strangely, I used to watch Venezuelan television all the way from Grenada. I have no idea how my vintage television used to pick up those stations but that is where my love started for Venezuelans. I always see Venezuelans as extended Caribbean family members 🥰.

I was simply highlighting a situation that took place at the Tuschen Sea Dam. Besides, I help Guyanese as well. In most cases, the donors decide who should receive assistance. Guyana is in need of labor in many areas so these people should be able to fill in some of the necessary skills and requirements needed. I understand the situation and its very sad, BUT i believe that the guyanese govt should work closely with the venezuaelan govt to see who the adults are and if they have any criminal records. For example, one woman brung fighting fouls (illegal in guyana) but she is saying, that is her only source of income, and is annoyed that she cant keep them. She may as well have brought some cocaine too, if that be the case. When people come, they can also bring their bad habbits. They can be murderers, or what not. we dont know

Let me inform you, I have been an advocate for children and adolescents in the country I live in. I don’t live in Guyana. I am a social worker and take my job seriously in the country I belong to. I currently work with homeless youth with drug addiction and mental illness. So please do not patronize me. You will never know the things I have done in my field of work, taking from my own pocket to provide to vulnerable youth who are at risk when the organization I work for can not fund what I need to assist the youth. I am by no means wealthy. It was a Monday at Charity market and it was market day, they disappeared in the crowd very quickly. The music was blasting in the open market. Firstly, I am passed middle age. I am not an Olympic sprinter. Was I supposed to jump into a taxi and tell the driver to drive into the crowd and mow down the crowd to find the mother and children? You don’t seem to have a brain, spitting out thoughtless comments. I don’t need to explain myself to you because I don’t owe you an explanation. However, your stupidity begs to question your level of understanding. Shame on you and the two people who gave you two likes.

The time Maduro takes to try and bully another country ,because oil has surface ,why did he not ask the foreign countries to help him to put a rig in Venezuela to produce his own oil .there r lots of oil in Venezuela ,why all of a sudden he's fighting for Essequibo..Venezuela helped Guyana at one time under the Burnam law,so if Guyana can help Venezuela to go on with a life .that would be most appreciated.i have lots of relatives in Venezuela that's starving right now.

Guyana has been growing so rapidly in the past few years. I heard what Omar Shaw said "when Venezuela accepted Guyanese may years ago". People did whatever possible to leave Guyana. Now that Guyana is making world news, those same people who fled are now running back. My opinion is, those people who were left behind in Guyana to battle the war they faced, those people should be rewarded FIRST. Guyana is encouraging the former residents to return to their country and giving them incentives for returning. Again, where are the rewards for the CURRENT residents? My opinion is MY opinion. I live in a country where I have the right, and I'm encouraged to share my thoughts. Guyana is and will ALWAYS be my country ❤

I am from a small caribbean island called Grenada and always had a soft heart for Venezuelans. Strangely, I used to watch Venezuelan television all the way from Grenada. I have no idea how my vintage television used to pick up those stations but that is where my love started for Venezuelans. I always see Venezuelans as extended Caribbean family members 🥰.

Thank you so much for your comment, but you got that wrong! All my videos are not about Venezuelans. And in this particular video, I wasn’t helping anyone. I was simply highlighting a situation that took place at the Tuschen Sea Dam. Besides, I help Guyanese as well. In most cases, the donors decide who should receive assistance. I hope that answers your question.

Great job Shabna showing and highlighting the plight of the migrants. Guyana is in need of labor in many areas so these people should be able to fill in some of the necessary skills and requirements needed. They should be given work permits and tax ID numbers where their employers can pay the necessary taxes etc. Please keep posting about the plight of the migrants, thanks!

I understand the situation and its very sad, BUT i believe that the guyanese govt should work closely with the venezuaelan govt to see who the adults are and if they have any criminal records. For example, one woman brung fighting fouls (illegal in guyana) but she is saying, that is her only source of income, and is annoyed that she cant keep them. She may as well have brought some cocaine too, if that be the case. When people come, they can also bring their bad habbits. They can be murderers, or what not. we dont know
