They played "Leader Of the Fucking Assholes". I LOVED THAT. I looked up the lyrics and found out about Shitlickers. That is how I got here. I fucking love this. :D
I saw that video with Alyssa of Arch Enemy hanging out w/Doyle, but since AE are based in Sweden Michael Amott and drummer, Daniel Erlanssen are very influenced by a lot of of the 80ties, Swedish HC bands like Anti Cimex, Drilller Killer, Totalitar etc., etc.

Them dudes probably never even thought about how special is the sound they achieved here, with very little skill and experience, likely even time spent. And to get that kind of tone you actually have to do a lot kinda counterintuitive things, some I'd even call sophisticated (e.g. the guitar track has to be in the red, at clipping level, for natural overdrive, but not too much or it gets very hard on the hearing).

I discovered this band ironically via a trip from Aus' to my mother country Sweden and discovering an 'alternative' vinyl store in Stockholm who happened to have some rare crusty trusty ol' Aussie punker gems at hand and discovered this Swedish entry into the HC Punk scene and was blown away immediately.
