I like your honesty Dave...even an experienced seller like yourself can get chumped...makes me feel a bit better about the mistakes that I have made...although, I am not a re seller...just a home declutterer...( if that is infact a word!)
That's what's great about your vids there very transparent, You explain the good bits with the cock ups which we all make from time to time. As you said its all an education. Crazy £100 for those Converse just a waste of time bringing then to car boot. That Seller with the quality boots wanted to work with you a bit on price which was sound. Great vid 😃
Well done dave. Great vid. I was at Bolton last week as well as weather for there looked best option. Think I was there later than you though. Did my suspension on car in unfortunately as hit a curb I didn't see while parking so an expensive trip really.
Hey Dave new subscriber here! Just wanted to say I love your videos especially the boot sale ones, I’ve watched every single video now I’m even rewatching some of them 😂 wish Brighton had as many boot sales as you have up there! Keep up the good work mode videos please ❤
Dave keep an eye open for Haix Boots , used by german army and Dutch and British one of the best brands . Those used Altburgh are grade 2 at best never getting £50 , check prices on army surplass shops websites
Ebay is just too much hassle 😑 people not paying or returning, plus the ebay fees. and some people just rather sell for a bit less and have the cash in the hand.
Hi boss I hear about ebay store how they do it is it like fba amazon fulfilment? I mean how it works if you have any ideas can you explain that please many thanks
@@bouyahiafodil8980 Not like FBA. When you get an international sale, you send that item to the eBay fulfilment centre in the UK and they send it on to the buyer. They organise all international shipping and duties from the money the buyer pays them. So you only pay the local postage cost.
You’d get strung at my boots looking up stuff and bragging how cheap you’ve bought stuff for It’s unsavoury imo There’s no need for it Get a cover for the trolley and maybe consider discretion - not tgat you’ll be bothered but I’m at the point of unsubbing based on the video today
Too honest to a fault, I don’t think sellers appreciate knowing their items will end up being flogged off for 5 x the buying price or more. I just couldn’t be that blunt…I simply buy and move on or have a little walk, check the comps then pop back if it’s worth picking up. But each to their own…I still enjoy the vids though.
@@Worldboss1 Fair point. If I’m ever questioned, I’ll always be honest, because that’s just who I am. I think it’s more offensive to insult people’s intelligence by contradicting them if they’re actually correct. There’s only maybe 2-3 people out of the thousands that watch these videos that have made comment about the ethics in checking comps in front of sellers and none of them have answered when I’ve asked what they think is insulting. The simple fact is, no one cares what happens to their stuff once a sale has been made. The only thing that matters, is agreeing the price so both parties are happy.
@@ABLReselling I completely agree, I think I’m just a bit too timid as far as checking comps right in front of the seller. I’ve had sellers put their price up after asking me how much the item was on eBay that’s before asking what they want for it which is also a mistake on my part…I then walked away in sheer disgust lol I’d much rather not do the research for them. Most sellers have no clue what their items are worth.
Ohhh man the Red Dwarf at the end... the nostalgia!
Chap with the boots became a selling friend to you dave

Great video as allways dave 👍
Dave what is your ebay seller name, so, I can give you a follow incase there's something I want to buy
Do you ever go to bowlee in middleton? It can be decent. Not far from Bolton really
Never been. I should have though to be fair.
Are you collecting leather jackets now? looks like you have loads at the moment :)
I’d sell ear wax if there was a market for it 😂
getting fed up of adverts dave
TH-cam drives the adverts bud.
You could always get TH-cam premium. No adverts at all then.
100 quid for 2nd hand Converse boots they looked minging too. hahhaha made me laugh 😃 😀 😄 😁 🤣
Some folk do make me smile 😄
Did you not ask how much the NFL Helmet was at 13:10?
No. It looked very plain and it didn’t tickle my tastebuds.
I perhaps should have though.
Look up LA Rams full size helmet. They won the Superbowl this year as well
not sure if this is a stupid question but why do the people at boot sales not sell on ebay? are they usually house clearances and that?
There’s quite a few reasons. The main one I hear is that they just can’t be arsed.
@@ABLReselling ah i see thanks for the quick reply! Also, great videos and best wishes to ya 🙏🏼

Feck...ye started looking up onine prices in front of the seller in N.I you'd get knee capped...fair play Dave but dead rude imo
I still have no idea why anyone finds this rude tbh.
