Here's 3 practical reasons a reversible USB connection is convenient: - Wearing gloves in the winter (or driving gloves any time of year), the pins on the end of the directional pins on the USB connector cannot be felt and thus the cable direction cannot be determined by feel. - When carrying passengers in the car I can simply pass the reversible USB charge cable to them and tell them it doesn't matter which way they plug it in. This can be especially helpful at night or if the passengers are wearing gloves. - With multiple micro USB devices (e.g. I own two phones, two Bluetooth headsets, a tablet, a Kindle, a camera, etc) I don't have to memorize the direction of the connections on each device. With a reversible micro USB cable I can simply plug and charge. No fuss, no muss!
Have you tried recording a loud concert with that Rode mic? The one downside to the S7 is that, like many other android phones, it performs horribly on the audio side when making a video or audio recording of a loud concert. So I was wondering if a product like the Videomic Me helps this.
i use my s7 edge all day from 6am to 10pm and have full brightness all day watching vids through out and music and end the day with about 15% the battery is great

the s7edge is such a great phone. the cases are not all that great. the screen protectors are not that great either. you have to spend a ton on them to get something decent. I love this phone. it's powerful and works great.

Excellent find with the reversible USB cable. Amazon specs confirms its full USB 2.0 as well so it should be as good as Samsung's own USB cable for best possible speed and data transfer. "...and if you DIDN'T enjoy my video, also subscribe to my channel". Lol. Good one.
ok what about tempered glass protector ? Will it still fit with that spigen back? Thats a question. If you crack your back u can always skin it with dbrand themes but if u crack your screen... its a different story. Halp!

I scratched it very first week LYING mostly on the desk (as i barely used it since i didn't had a case)...sooo... im not taking any chances anymore. They lie. I definitely agree with using a clear jelly case. I've seen people with gorgeous phones, but they cover it with the ugliest and cheapest looking cases possible. The S7 edge still looks gorgeous with a clear case.
I used the Rode video mic me you described with my 7s Edge phone, and got enormous static and popping on the recording, ruining the video of an important event. Went to the Samsung store that tested it completely saying the mic was the problem, not the phone. Now I'm left fumbling with Audacity to try to eliminate the static on about 2 hours of recordings. Is there another mic that might work? Perhaps the problem was the distance between the phone and the people speaking--more than 8 feet. I think I'm going with the lavalier mic that you pin on your lapel or shirt next time.
Its hard to say maybe something was rubbing on the mic or possibly the plug wasn't in all the way? Mine worked great on the S7 edge. Is it possible you got a bad mic? I'd experiment with it and do a few test recordings to see if its always getting static. I'm sure they make lav mics for phones. Maybe something like ths amzn.to/2smu3J4
where did you get that ghetto screen protector? it looks like you cut out the the fingerprint sensor part of the original plastic sleeve it was shipped in, because the decent ones won't be shipping until next month?

The clear silicone case starts getting discolored after a while so I personally don't think that's the best choice to go for!
Most of my Spigen clear cases I have for my iPhone and Android phones, have never discoloured to yellow like some others.
