All this potential upcoming content is good but a really simple change they could do is tidy up the UI to make it more resemble how it was beforehand. The offers clutter up the hone screen and editing decks is way less intuitive than how it was before. Additionally, I hope they bring back the frequent rotations of special game modes they had with party mode. Having random game modes like 7x elixir or poison was way more fun than having draft with new evo taking up that slot like a third of the time of every season.
Good point about the UI. It’s actually terrible, having 3 different deck sets that you have to change the game mode to access and copy and paste from if you wanna play different modes, it’s so bad. And yeah there’s just too much clutter with all the random offer crap. Even in the store section, there’s no rhyme or reason as to how the offers are laid out. Just a crazy long list of random offers. If I actually wanted to buy something, it would be pretty easy to miss it. All around the UI just feels like there’s been no attempt to organize it logically, and there’s just so much UI bloat it’s unreal.

It is actually completely achievable after the pass rework and the lucky drops rework as well. I've got like 1.5m as a casual just by playing 2v2. Getting lvl15 is slow, yeah, as it was thought to be but the proggression feels fine to me at least
If you are already at lvl 14 and play regularly you should be able to upgrade 2 cards per month to lvl 15 especially if you can reach half way through path of legends which most players can and by now most people should have more than 2 decks at lvl 15 if they played regularly up to now. I myself have 3 decks at lvl 15

I feel like they added more game modes to keep it fresh and interesting for casual players or even a way for us to make our own game modes because the majority of the player base also left because of the way that progression benefits more to players that are better at the game and not even necessarily play more
You can see the exact point when I stopped paying for anything in the game. I was constantly paying for the pass and for any emote packages they had. It kinda feels good going on 5 years without spending a dime. I honestly am a emote Junky and a 2v2 lover. They ruined war and have refused to make it more then just a battle. 2v2 war brought clans closer and made the adrenaline factor high. I almost bought the crying goblin emote last year. I did pay for a emote once and supercell took it back stating that it wasn't supposed to be released yet. That was my last in-game purchase I made.
New content is necessary along with fixing the existing features & all should aim at making the game more FUN & engaging. Rather than this, they made new content locked behind the paywall & didn't change many features like clan wars, etc. Also, they left things like masteries, star levels, super troops, etc. incomplete. The feature players enjoyed was Super troops & wanted a game mode permanent or something for it & they left it. They added 2v2 though, recently. I guess the new content they are planning with clash mini should take above things into consideration.

I built a great deck for Goblin Queen’s Journey and spent wildcards and gold that is now just wasted. Evo Goblin Giant level 15 and level 14 Goblin Demolisher never get played now. I’m f2p forever now.

It could be other spells to. They also need to separate evolution’s from classic Lader. They need 1v1 Lader with evolution’s and a 1v1 ladder without evolution’s.
I think one of the biggest problems with Royale is the fact that every game mode is so similar to the core experience of Royale that basically every new game mode feels like the same game with a new skin on it Taking this approach actually really good because it encourages new and creative ideas and not just three skeletons behind a tower mode Them actually recognizing they made me a mistake by focusing on fixing things we don’t need and forget to add new exciting stuff I just hope to see some new life breathe into Clash Royale because the game is the best. I think they should start from the beginning by offering each week a different game mode among those already made BUT add a voting system to elect the best game modes. They should also make statistics to know which modes were the most popular. After a year or a few months, they can keep the best ones. and probably continue a rotation, but only between the best game modes, and only offer a new unreleased mode from time to time, like, one week every 3 months.

I was hoping for you to mention a clan war rework for the way you worded how they were gonna look back at stuff thry did in 2021. One thing i noticed quite alot when i come back to the game for a good month or 2 to play thme from last playing it in 2022 was thr lack of trade tokens and ways to get them, i always remember stock piling trade tokens as the game were shilling them out, they should atleast incorporate more trade tokens in clan war rewards cause it goes intwine with the whole point of them, to trade unwanted/abundant cards with other players , and the main way of getting them being clan wars makes sense
Directionally, it is a good thing SC is bothering to reflect on its past successes and failures and try to improve the game and game experience instead of sticking their heads in the sand and engaging in a "toxic positivity" loop that some modern game developers seem to be stuck in. One thing they will need to wary of however, is the fragmentation of the player base if too many different game modes or mini games are introduced that appeal to different segments of the player base - matchmaking might become an issue (either card level match up, skill match up, or time required to find a match) if the player base becomes too diffused. Of course, ideally SC would like the player base to simply increase and have the mini games attract more players instead of just fragmenting the existing player base.
I can already see a 7x Elixir ladder or Touchdown ladder being a permanent game mode!! Imagine all the strategies top players would come up with, just like they did in 2v2 ladder!!
For as much as they’ve tempered with this game, they never touched the basic mechanics/concept and that’s why it’s still fun. If they mess with that they’re completely finished
If you played between late august and early september you was able to pick a evolution for free then you could collect it in the shop after a few days.
Guys clash royale is doing great with pass royale,new events and f2p Another reason why this is rising up again is evolutions ehich mean u need to pay the pass royale but there is no one that doesn't have any evolution in the game (except if u just started the game) And the evo now are easier to get If clash royale keeps the good work they might be like in 2021 again!!!
to be honest, I don't think new game modes staying longer than a few weeks would be great. I love playing the temporary stuff when it's out, but if it stayed too long and became "too popular" it would take away from the acutal game. Imagine not finding a match or having to wait longer than a few seconds for a Match to start because across 10 game modes, people were to busy to play the normal game. Though I love the idea, I think it's best for these things to stay temporary like the seasonal quests, maybe a bit longer, and then return regularly. I wouldn't mind the Goblin Queen returning for a few weeks next year with some actual good rewards like now with the 2v2 ladder.

The thing is supercell devaluated in game money. There was a time opening a chest as a f2p was exciting, even a giant chest. Nowadays there are a tons of loot but it just feel empty, same ridiculous number of offer in the shop. Level 15 was a decent id, tower troop a good one, pass was a good one, evolution shouldn't have been as op as they are and should have been more rare and unlockable from chest and not from chest. . Like legendary before, after all it was very possible to get top 200 without a legendary or with only one (think about 2.6 just for example). All other change were useless or bad i think. I'm didn't study business at school but this seems obvious for me. Interface to build deck is absolutly a mess i genuinely struggle to change my deck (eg i was playing friendly battle i couldn't even manage to change my friendly battle deck because i had to switch ladder gameplay wtf). They did too much thing useless, adding too more useless things in the game
I hope they fix clan wars and make it so everyone is at challenger level makes no sense for a level 8 to be bullied by a level 15 I dot. Even bother with clan wars waste of time for low levels
The game could have been better if they listened to the community the 2v2 ladder was requested by players since years and the clan's war rework too most players who does not compete for top ladder and form the majority in the game like to have fun playing with friends when the 1v1 ladder is stressful and make you hate this game for matchmaking and getting countred or bmed too much the collective gameplay is more chill and enjoyable also we got enough of that repetitive circuit of new op cards added to be nerfed after the sells drop to launch another card i know they have to make money somehow but that feel like a scam

2 wild shards available every season is decent. A small chance of getting evos from lucky drops too
If you played between late august and early september you was able to pick a evolution for free then you could collect it in the shop after a few days.
Guys clash royale is doing great with pass royale,new events and f2p
Another reason why this is rising up again is evolutions ehich mean u need to pay the pass royale but there is no one that doesn't have any evolution in the game (except if u just started the game)
And the evo now are easier to get

to be honest, I don't think new game modes staying longer than a few weeks would be great. I love playing the temporary stuff when it's out, but if it stayed too long and became "too popular" it would take away from the acutal game. Imagine not finding a match or having to wait longer than a few seconds for a Match to start because across 10 game modes, people were to busy to play the normal game.
Though I love the idea, I think it's best for these things to stay temporary like the seasonal quests, maybe a bit longer, and then return regularly. I wouldn't mind the Goblin Queen returning for a few weeks next year with some actual good rewards like now with the 2v2 ladder.

KPI = Key Performance Indicator. For people who may not know what this is, it's metrics used by companies to measure how well or not they're doing (number of players, money spent per player, time spent online per player, etc.)
The thing is supercell devaluated in game money. There was a time opening a chest as a f2p was exciting, even a giant chest. Nowadays there are a tons of loot but it just feel empty, same ridiculous number of offer in the shop. Level 15 was a decent id, tower troop a good one, pass was a good one, evolution shouldn't have been as op as they are and should have been more rare and unlockable from chest and not from chest. . Like legendary before, after all it was very possible to get top 200 without a legendary or with only one (think about 2.6 just for example). All other change were useless or bad i think. I'm didn't study business at school but this seems obvious for me. Interface to build deck is absolutly a mess i genuinely struggle to change my deck (eg i was playing friendly battle i couldn't even manage to change my friendly battle deck because i had to switch ladder gameplay wtf). They did too much thing useless, adding too more useless things in the game

The game could have been better if they listened to the community the 2v2 ladder was requested by players since years and the clan's war rework too most players who does not compete for top ladder and form the majority in the game like to have fun playing with friends when the 1v1 ladder is stressful and make you hate this game for matchmaking and getting countred or bmed too much the collective gameplay is more chill and enjoyable also we got enough of that repetitive circuit of new op cards added to be nerfed after the sells drop to launch another card i know they have to make money somehow but that feel like a scam

they should work on gameplay improvment and card balance changes more instead of just adding new game mode this is so stupid you cannot play your favourite deck because of bait and spam decks
More game modes will take players from existing modes and hurt matchmaking. Unless considerate growth happens.

One of the final reworks to clash mini removed being able to move peices mid turn. This made the game much more shallow and boring, i hope that they fix clash mini before assing it back
