Yeah, there's no way in hell the community would be able to guess the correct lyrics between Hashino's Engrish and the distorted vocals. And the opening line not being "Rubicon cries" does remove a little of the punch the song had for me. Though I still think the read we had on it is still correct, to me the gist of the song is that it's about how much Rusty loves his planet and he's willing to fight for it.
This is my new anthem, but I like more the line Rubicon Cries from past interpretation, its just so full of emotion and correct under the Liberator route

I think that even if the first line is not "Rubicon cries" the "Standing in a cold place" hits even harder, think about it, for Rusty his planet is just a destroyed land, not a home, just a cold battlefield, just a cold cemetery, no affection, only suffering, you need to see over those words, they say Rubicon cris even better that "Rubicon cris", it's Rusty home, it's every Rubiconian home and it's not a happy place, there is a haze of sadness and little hope, the idea of "cold" for me it's perfect both in reference to the planet situation and also for the ACs, they are just made of cold metal, machine of war but inside there are pilots with feelings that are burning like lava, pilots like Rusty that fight for what they love, what they belive, to protect the innocents, to give a future to every child. The cold can also be a reference to the contrast vs the fire that scorched the land, now there are just cold cinders but they can burn again, i think that "cold" also mean this, for now it's "cold" I also like that "Standing" bc it's a direct reference that Rusty is standing there and he can see every day that bad situation, i don't wanna say that Rubucon cries is bad but that this is also pretty fck good

I assume the actual singer is saying either "Stand in cold place" or "Standing cold place", it wouldn't be the first time that Armored Core soundtrack has english lyrics with strange/incorrect grammar and that way the syllables would work out. So I'd guess that they simply wrote the correct grammar in the official release, perhaps in an effort to prevent confusion about the meaning (for example if it is "stand in cold place" then that could be interpreted as an order "go over there" or as a description of someone or something). Similarly I think the "the" in "lost to the wind" probably isn't part of the sung lyrics either because the syllables don't match there either.
