Great review, this seems to be closest thing to the dbrand grip cases in terms of size and protection. Really a shame dbrand didn't make a case for the 12, but these tudias seem pretty great as well
I've been running a POETIC case for the past few phones I've had ,they haven't put one out for the OP12R yet . This TUDIA is very comparable,it does feel a bit too slippery for me but it will work for now. Thanks for the recommendation!
I wish there was more front lip protection. If you lie it on its face on a flat surface it seems to get very close to the screen touching. Coming from the 8T with a Spigen case, this seems to offer less protection.
@@7prs965 True. I think I much prefer a flat screen. The curved screen creates a "pocket" between the case and the curved screen for dust/debris to collect
I have noticed the recents gesture doesn't work on the OnePlus 12. When I swipe up it says freed up and optimised but when I try again the apps are still there and I have to close them 1 by 1 . Any solutions to this ?
In fact, this is one of my favorite cases regardless of the device model. Since Tudia decided to completely redesign their merge series a couple of years ago they are one of the finest cases around. They're older cases lacked the grip texture and they weren't as good as this. Obviously, I decided to purchase this case for my OnePlus 12. Although, I purchased the standard model without the magsafe. Truthfully, I could care less about that and I would never use it. Fortunately, they offer it both ways. As much as I love this case, I still purchased the sandstone bumper case. Once more, I plan on purchasing the fiber case when it comes back in stock. I tend to change my case up depending on where I'm going and what I'm doing.
I've noticed the light drop off on the sides of the screen left and right when white background is on. Is that because of the curved screen or is it a defect on the screen ?
Hey Jabber Tech, do you use a temperred glas screen protector or the plastic one from oneplus? if you use the one from oneplus, how is the picture quality with it?
Nice explanation, only question left is : Do you have to get off the case everytime you want to charge your phone on the OnePlus wireless charger? In case you have one, please test it and report back, thanks in advance 🙏🏻
It doesn't make sense to have that type of case with that circle on it because it's too slow compared to what they give you out the box why would you ever need that slow charging system even though wireless system is higher than that
It makes perfect sense bc not everyone is going to spend $50 on the fast wireless charger. That's an optional accessory. But qi pads and magsafe wireless chargers/accessories are everywhere and cheaper
Interesting that you're saying the case is grippy. Some of the reviews on Amazon are saying that it's really slippery. Im inclinded to believe you more than them, but it's odd that people are saying something different.
@@TheJabberTech Mine came in yesterday. Definitely a good case. Very comfy and good grip. Don't get the reviews saying it's slippery, so maybe you're right lol
For me it was slippery until I used it for about a day. Either it got 'broken in' or I just got used to it not sure but feels much better than when I first opened it

Bro this case is slippery still slippery
Tudia needs to take inspiration from Caseology Athlex series
You can see that a part of the camera stands out and isnt protected. Someone on amazon pointed it out.
Looking at it now. No part of the camera 'sticks out'

No doubt. Case life
Does it really protect the camera?
Unless you need a tank, it does protectb

Side effects of curved glass
Hey Jabber Tech, do you use a temperred glas screen protector or the plastic one from oneplus? if you use the one from oneplus, how is the picture quality with it?
I used the one pre-installed on the phone. A screen protector on the front does not affect the camera

everyone has different hands. I work with mine and don't moisturize, so maybe that helps me grip onto cases. IDK
