I just realized how much powerful it would be if the song was faster and the price (her voice) was mentioned only once. She'd have no time to think about it, it would be yes or no and Ursula would totally mess with her mind.
for everyone asking "when did JB do this??" this was actually one of their first famous songs. they released it when Little Mermaid got remastered and re-released. it played on Disney Channel for a few months :)
Might I add that it was also specifically the Diamond Edition Re-release that it was featured with, before they put the movie away in the 'vault' supposedly.
This song should be playing in the background anytime someone is signing a contract with Disney, and the contract should be signed with a red ball point pen, for added effect
I used to be really young when the Jonas Brothers first came out, and I remember I loved them so much, they were the closest thing to a rock band that I loved, until I found Panic at the Disco and Fall Out Boy and all that, but this song was always my favorite, and I'm glad that it still rocks, and that I don't just love it out of pure nostalgia
to be fair this is the most angsty sounding track they’ve recorded, they started with pop punk but they never really had an angsty or edgy sound to them
I like this part: “If you want to cross a bridge, my sweet, you’ve got to pay the toll Take a gulp, take a breath, go ahead, sign the scroll Nick and Kevin, now I’ve got her, boys The boss is on a roll!” Of course, the “Nick and Kevin” part reminds me of Nick Carter and Kevin Richardson from the Backstreet Boys (who happen to be one of my favorite musical groups).. ;)
I think I love the Jonas Brothers all over again. I was in shock for about a week when I found out they did this song, and now I'm freaking glad they did.
I was actually pretty surprised that this was the Jonas Brothers O: Because it's actually really good. (of course, not better than the original, but still)
I hated this cover for ages because my younger brother over-played it. Forgot about it for a few years, then after joining a new fandom I seen it get used for one of my favourite characters, and now I'm in love with it.
This is my favorite song by them even years later I still gotta come back and look this up and be like damn Nostalgia. When this song first came out I was like who the hell are they?
Everyone has different opinions. Tons of people actually love their work. Just how tons love Justin Bieber and tons hate him too. In the end it's music. To each their own. Right?
I listened to this version first then I listened to the ori one. I never knew it was a cover from the Little Mermaid movie. LOL. When I watched the movie, I automatically sing the song like this metal version, then I was like. waittt, Jonas Brothers?
i heard this song, and i didnt know who was covering the song. then i looked it up and saw that it was the Jonas Brothers and i was really suprised. Its so awesome!
Sebastian Michaelis Song when he first meet Ciel Phantomhive I love how it says "flocking to me crying " since Sebastian is a bird demon XD At that moment I knew this was their song.
When I was little, I used to listen to the Jonas Brothers and then I stopped. I heard this song in a tribute for 2Phetalia and I liked it but I didn't know the Jonas brothers sang it! All this time! It was them!
Queen Latifah's rendition in "The Little Mermaid Live!" was incredible. I only just discovered it when I was looking for this cover on spotify. That said, this is still the best cover that's just a standalone cover of the song. I really cannot find anyone who has captured the energy the Jonas Bros brought to this. I've never listened to their other music, but I'm considering giving them a shot after all this time. Maybe I just wasn't ready for them as a teenager.
Most underrated cover ever.
irkenus I agree.
irkenus Ikr
I know..
irkenus facts
It’s a cover? :o
I hate that this isn’t on Spotify
Same!!!
I’ve only found this cuz it come up on Spotify but it wasn’t playable. So here I am

Same here. This is my favourite version of Poor Unfortunate Souls
this song makes me realize how old the jonas brothers really are. I was in middle school when I had this song on my ipod... now i'm in college.
amber230 wow and now that was five years ago... i was in elementary school, i didn’t feel that old until i read your comment tbh hahaha

Wow you're right, I palyed it at 1.25 and it messes up with my head.
@@Lamrabetnouha If they were the sea witches, HELL YEAH I would lose the challenge on purpose just to belong to them!
Wait, what? Jones Brothers did this? But this is good. What? How? Well, whatever. Well played.
david santistevan My reaction exactly
david santistevan part of the lyrics to this song came from little mermaid
+KaSaNe BeLLa lol, me too
+Lilith bowling it's a cover of the original. All of the words come from The Little Mermaid.
Rainbow Rose ah i see
Not really a JoBros fan, but I like the cover. The guitar and speed of the beat just works for me.
The Jonas TV Series is the best thing to come from the Jonas Brothers though.

Okay, I've never been a Jonas Brothers fan, but I have to give these guys some credit. This cover is pretty badass :D
Not hating on bieber or anything but does anyone remember when JB used to stand for the jonas brothers?
I think we all do.
Crystal Totaram those were better times
+Advanced Darkness i know right jo bros for life!!
Crystal Totaram yes JB stands for Jonas Bothers!!!lol wat did they think it stand for!!!

...Wow, I have gotta admit, i may not be a Jonas Brothers fan but that's a pretty fun little cover.
I liked this one too i'm so impressed
If no one said it yet: Azul. It somehow fits him perfectly.
Yep! With the tweels as backup singers and dancers! Mc is filming.
A fellow twst fan I see~
They really did a good job on this song. Great roaring crackling guitar, great voices. I really enjoy the way they overdramatize everything.
This song should be playing in the background anytime someone is signing a contract with Disney, and the contract should be signed with a red ball point pen, for added effect
I REGRET TO INFORM YOU THIS SONG IS ADDICTING, LISTEN TO AT YOU'RE OWN RISK
+KaiAztur alright karkat
+nightmare gaming awsome I find this funny because at the time my icon wasn't karkat but well look at this haha
yes i like making people laugh
I KNOW RIGHT!?
Too late ._.
Dang 15 years later, still stuck on replay!
Joke's on you! The Jonas Brothers can't break up, they're brothers!
I don't usually go for Jonas Brothers music, but I have a soft spot for this cover.
What if my chemical romance did a cover of this? I think I would die from discovering music that good.
I'magirldealwithit omg yes please
I would die of happiness!
I'magirldealwithit YOU ARE A GENIUS OH MY GOD

I never thought the Jonas brothers could make an emo sounding song lol
their first three albums are full of pop-punk/emo songs lol
to be fair this is the most angsty sounding track they’ve recorded, they started with pop punk but they never really had an angsty or edgy sound to them
I like this part:

I completely in love with the band
I love all of the older Jonas Brothers stuff, and this is by far my favourite song of theirs.
this cover is the best.
Though they, of course, dont capture the emotion displayed in the original, this one is incredibly fun and more pleasing to listen to, in my opinion!
My favorite band singing a song from my favorite disney movie. This is just...too...awesome!!!!
I love this song by the Jonas Brothers and so does my brother
my favorite childhood band finally gets some respect. they can be cool if they want.
I think I love the Jonas Brothers all over again. I was in shock for about a week when I found out they did this song, and now I'm freaking glad they did.
15 years later and this still slaps

🎶those poor unfortunate souls so sad so true🎶
Good cover!! I like how they made it their own by changing or adding some lyrics. "Nikki Kevin now I've got em boys!"
This is just a banger of a song
Ahhh, the good old days of Disney. I remember this played all the time. I loved the younger Jonas brothers.
This video is older than my Life, and its The greatest cover I've ever found
one Jonas Brothers song I will ALWAYS love,no matter what :)
why is this song such a huge bop yet so underrated omg?
Was obsessed w them then , still obsessed now 😍😍 !!
this is my guilty pleasure. I'm not a fan of theirs, but I love this cover!

This song is on repeat constantly at the art if animation hotel in walt disney world
I love their voices !
The only version of poor unfurtanate souls that doesnt creep me out!❤😂
A lot late but on 1:39 it says "a very person" instead of "a very busy person" lol
I love that a ton of the comments are about Black Butler :) I totally agree
This is so underrated, I noticed this like two years ago💀😭

These guys made a huge mistake when they abandoned this style of music.
One of my fav songs by them
This sounds like the sort of song a drug dealer might sing about his customers.
Who knew you had it in you, Mr. Sophie Turner?

WHY ISN'T THIS ON SPOTIFY????
great song!!! wonderfull! know all the words! listen to it almost 40 times a day!
Thanks to the Jonas brothers, whenever this song comes on when I'm watching the little mermaid, I start playing air guitar and basically jamming out.
This cover is real good. I'd actually classify this as a banger
I know this isn't exactly the original, but I can't help feeling like it's pretty fun, anyway.

Listening to this and I see Black Butler related comments. Made my day.

Perfect for Sebastian and Ciel
